Getting close to choosing LED..Need educated opinions

Anyone here know of how fast A51 turns around and ships your lights? I like it when I pay in full and products ships same day, or maybe at the latest...next day.

my only advice would be considering how long you will use the lights for... is the ship time for the A51 not worth waiting for..

Im not a fanboy and dont own one.. I like them a lot though... but I would wait for the light I wanted and make do with what I had until it arrived than use it as my decision whether to pull the pin on it or not due to delivery date.. if you are just vegging until then try using some cfls to get by maybe

let us now how you go and start a journal too

If you didn't realize that, then what was your reason to buy them in the first place?

You seem determined to shop by low price and high power consumption. Those "awesome deals" are usually crap. Maybe all crap. I see countless posts here warning people to beware of eBay "bargains". You should heed them.
 
four plants seems to be 2 A51s.. if i am right... good deal.. will last you for years and they have success growing...

Right....but then I come across posts by a member named Slipon and he seems to be doing pretty damn good with his Fero/LG Led combo. But points well taken, as it's a dead heat btwn A51 and Apache at this point.
 
Unfortunately, anyone can come here and promote a product they're selling. There is no checking of the accuracy or impartiality of their claims. I've seen the Fero lights and thought they looked like generic Chinese cheap knock-offs.

I need a Hans expert to chime in here. In a 4x4x7 space wth 4-6 plants how many Hans panels would be needed to at least match 600 watts of hid?
 
The 880 is new so know one can actually speak about it yet. Unfortunately no body has really shown or completed a good grow online with the older model so hard to say exactly about CLW.
IMO there is better lights out there for, but it is still a good light and hasn't had any issues of premature failure that I know of(like many china lights). Just not the most up to date(at least the old one, but I still question the new till proven) or efficient.

So until someone test it in the field, we only know the limited infer that CLW shows/advertises...

I have a CLW SS400, and yes it is a bit warm but not enough that my fan can't handle the heat. The reason for the heat is it is a 5 watt diode that in max bloom mode uses 320 watts for 80 diodes. That is a power factor of .80, you will not find that in any of the 3 watt diodes in the lamps your looking at. Their power factor is less than .5.

I got mine on a grower review program for almost half off. I love it and I now have two mainlined Nirvana Ice and one mainlined Amsterdam seeds WW and one WW clone bush.

Last grow:

TGA Subcools, Querkle,
Mainlined @ 7 cola in three gallon smart bags,
Grow area - 6.25 sqft DIY cabinet 6 feet tall. Lined with Mylar, 4" fan and filter, going to 6" for fall grow
3.5 zips of very nice bud and just over 1 zip of nice size buds but I will call them popcorn. LOL, they are large enough for three bowls off one bud.

Good luck in you choice, I would look at the CFL SS 880 if I had the cash. Just be sure to use a good fan and filter and you will have no heat problems.

Have you considered California Light Works? American, cheaper than the A51...5 watt diodes. Nice penetration. I have two of the 200 watt Solar Flare (one bloom booster and one full spectrum) and they are better than my old 600w hps in a 3x3. I also have one of those cheap Taotronics 240 in there as well, but the buds directly under the CLW lamps KICK ASS!!! food for thought n happy growing!

Get a real lamp (A51) and you will understand the additional cost.. Nice penetration, true, but I can GUARAN-FUGN-TEE that you have dark corners in your 3x3..
