every 19 minutes someone dies at the hands of a pharma drug.

No one has ever died using pot.
 
Does anyone know if we now have to renew our grow license? I renewed mine right before the deadline but my wifes expired last week. Conroy told her not to renew before the hearing as she would be covered anyway. So I wonder if hers is still good or does she need to send a renewal to health canada?

I actually just lost a close friend to mixing pharmaceuticals. I can't wait to be off this morphine for good. I will not take another mass produced, liver killer painkiller again.

Raider, the trial will likely be next year, although I read the judge apparently suggesting it could be moved up into this year, it still takes time at that level to get cases heard, not a bad thing. The lawyers will try every trick to delay it I'm sure, my bet is next year, no big hurry from this side of of the fence :)

Sorry about your friend and your experience with painkillers. That's what gets me going on this subject, the pharma drugs seem to be almost be designed to cause side-effects, like a self-feeding system that goes unchecked and under-scrutinized. At our expense :(

My understanding is if you had a valid ppl on Sept.30 it is valid until the SC case is heard. I don't think HC will issue renewals at all.

They just don't stop do they? Did anyone else get a hint of they might let it go? Fire hazards, toxic mold...when does it end? They just don't get that not everyone uses dry marijuana. What is so difficult to understand about that? There are pill, suppositories, syrups, rubs, my god, the myriad of preparations yet we a boxed into smoking or vaping.

It almost sounded to me like they were going to let this go and move forward with the new system and new patients.

I find it almost laughable at this point. They have zero clue about cannabis as medicine and continue to be ignorant and blind to the facts. They keep spitting out the same propaganda with zero factual data or evidence. Fuck the MMPR, the real medicine will be grown by the patients for the patients.

She's covered I'm pretty sure. As long as it was still valid by the Sept 30th 2013 deadline.

i wouldnt send hc anything. they are slimy backstabbing cruel individuals. it says before or after sept 30 2013 you are good until sc rules.
 
This is great news, but what do I do now that I sent my 'pink' form away to a Licensed producer?? I would much rather continuing to grow my own but I needed to make sure I was going to get my marijuana and wanted to stay within the rules/laws. But now what?? there must be other people that are in the same boat?
 
or send in proper or old copies of your existing mmar paperwork to be processed. HC will not comment until next week and will be following the recent court order..if your license was approved before sept 30th you will follow existing mmar..I will be inquiring about changing gtow locations and dgs for a few patients..but if I was you id justcall hc next week and ask them..if you destroyed your meds or gtow you may be able to seek damages..and im sure there will many civil suits upcoming with patients and lps..the shit storm has begun..lol
 
For those of you thinking your screwed into the mmpr..flip the coin and just grow your own..send in your paperwork photos into hc..if they dont process at least you have informed thegov of your non criminal intent..and if you were to be busted..chances are that you will be convicted when the mmar/pr is invalid or constitutional is nil. So if I was in these patientsposition..id be growing my own..just protect your rights if you do..get a note from your dr stating you find cannabis helpful..keep quiet and grow your meds..bad exemption..no offence..its key..
 
I agree doc....... the shit storm is going to be one of the craziest legal battles to date.... Hopefully next election we have an actual government for the people and Harper can go f@&k himself for lack of a better term .... Peace to all who stand up for what they believe in
