for long term storage use vacum seal bags for freezer that is how im gonna do it. i can say this. This is the best hobby ever. Love it. who knows maybe 1 day this will be my job. man if i could own/run a med growing shop. oh yeah my dream.

Matt is micro planning and has to keep his IWE inn a fridge at all time to keep it that way. The light color is due to the fineness of the product, by that I mean how small it is. When you chop your trichomes whichever way you do it you will have resin glands going from super fine to bigger chunk, the smaller the chopping the lighter the color as you must have witness countless time.
As long as oxidation goes you have to use smaller jars or have a lot more to put in the one you use now Mo. The less oxygen while you cure or age the better.

Frenchy ,you are a legend !.After months of research on yours & Matts threads & YT vids ,growing the plant ,making the RO ice ,ect ect ! ....I have finally made some top quality IWE that is drying right now .I micro plained the 73 & 45 Matt style as im sure it will be full melt ,but the 120 & 25 looked very nice too .I chopped these on a plate like you do & will heat press to activate once its dry.... I know you dont rate these microns but im not that connoisseur yet & will try pressing the 73 & 45 next time for sure.

Very rewarding to finally strike gold in the bags ,I may have to buy myself a Frency t-shirt to celibate :)

Had to say a big thanks to you ,Matt & SubCool for putting all the info out there :peace:

In your video "Frenchy meets TGA's MickeyKush" I noticed you did some modification to your machine and I beleive I just got the same one! Can you explain why you did these modifications?

Also how much dry hash do you end up with on average in each of the pyrex dishes?

I changed the exhaust pipe because the original tube is collecting tons in every grooves.
Also with the tube on the side there is spillage if the water level is too high in the machine.
This how I like it

It is quite easy to open the bottom of the machine (4 screws) take off the original pipe and replace it by 2 pipes with 2 elbows, one with a cap that screw, sorry I do not have pics of the inside but the only difficulties is to calculate the length of the tube

This is very interesting after what I just read :) It is all about 'dacarboxylation' turning all the THC-A into active THC... Funny how we only recently started figuring this out 'scientifically' but it has been done the right way for thousands of years.

About curing the hash, there actually IS a whole bunch of scientific evidence backing up the practice. The process of dehydration, not only heat, also caused dacarboxylation making your hash more pure and potent as it continues. The best charas I ever had was buried in the Himalayas for a whole year.

That is some AK-48 out of I believe the #73 bag. I had pressed a combination of strains that day. AK-48, XJ-13, Blue Dream and Blue Magoo. I then took all of the trim and mixed it for a last run combining all of the flavors for a total of 1 ounce pressed. :mrgreen: :peace:

I'm slowly making my way through this thread. It's so good, I haven't been spending much time at my "home" site since I found it. Thanks for posting this Shawns!! Great post.

NOTE: I thought I quoted the post you did on temp and terpenes. Anyway, I'll be back later. Just harvested the biggest chunk of trichs I've ever pulled.
