You know that democrat guy that shot up those people in colorado?
Seems he really liked Obama, we should probably label Obama supporters as deranged homicidal maniacs just to be on the safe side.

For sure.

oh, then perhaps you;d like to talk about the cannabis crop i grow for a living then, skinhead.
Actually the plants are the ones doing all the growing, you just kinda do something for 10-30 minutes per day at the most. Not really work in the minds of most.

true, the plants do most of the work.

you're forgetting about harvest time (40-70 hour week trimming) and then the week after, where you have to replace a whole bunch of plants by transplanting into large containers, buying soil, mixing soil, taking clones, pruning, transplanting new veg plants for the next cycle, etcetera. that's a good 20-30 hours worth of work altogether.

the other two weeks out of the month are pretty damn light on the work though.

Soil is more work, taste is better though.

Hydroponics is significantly less actual work, but way more management. You can't walk away for a week.

Don't you ever get help trimming? I personally can trim 12 ounces in about 4 hours.

I can take 40 clones in 1 hour and transplant them all in less than 10 minutes. Not in soil though.

The mothers are the least care.

manual climate control is also a bit of work. not much, but it requires checking all the time.

one plant (about 2.5 - 3 ounces) takes me 2-3 hours to trim based on strain. then there's all the extra time spent hanging, unhanging, debranching, and curing. i don't trust anyone else to trim my stuff, unless i have way too much to trim.

i take 24 clones at a time, takes less than an hour to do. but then i prune and train the plants to become mothers or flowerers, neem them, mix nutes for them, administer nutes, etc.

it adds up. i have two busy weeks every month and two dead weeks every month.

Yeah, you can automate quite a few things with hydro. I don't do all my trimming in one day. I break it up into 3 or 4 days so its not such a task. 20+ years of experience has made me pretty efficient.
