On the upside, it's good your bud had your back. I would not be angry at him. Better Safe than Sorry. You can always start another grow. Do it in the great outdoors - away from your home & sleep better at night.

i always sleep good at night too haha im not upset at him cause he knew i have drug charges from jan pending its just mostly sad, im gonna save my money and get a procyon 100 or two or them. I just so happens the warrant was for a misdemeanor traffic ticket over a year ago. shit happens rather safe than sorry.

no outdoor grow in az during the summer hahah

Well.. glad it was small stuff & not something serious. Many, Many years ago - an angry girlfriend dropped an anonymous dime on me about a grow. I was growing 60 plants in a wooded area not far from my house. I got lucky. I dodged that bullet, cause I always varied my feeding schedule just a little. I always had my cover story ready and dressed the part - Billy Bob the Backpacker - Lover of the Great Outdoors. I never carried fertilizers or tools on me. They were there, already stashed. Plus I left, things (sticks, pine cones & leaves) lying about in a certain way - so, I'd notice if they were disturbed.

The first thing the Fuzz did was run right out to the area, and stomp around, everywhere. Trying to find them. They left tire tracks, right near my entrance, footprints everywhere, and one was even nice enough to leave an empty coffee cup (I guess he ate the donut).

They got my girls, and probably a million mosquito bites while waiting, but not me. I dumped that B*tch and put the word out she was a Hard Core Snitch. She really liked toking up and could not get anyone to deal to her or share after that (Justice). The Fuzz watched me like a hawk for about 6 months. I got stopped once a week. What did they find, NOTHING.

I then got a lawyer & sued them for harrassment. They settled out of court. I moved & used their money as the down payment on my house. Like said in Harold & Kumar go to White Castle - "The universe has a way of unfolding as it should."

Hang in there. Life always has a few rough spots - just get up & keep moving forward. That's how you win.

Hey Grape, sorry about your woes. I hope you get back on your feet soon.

Does anyone know if its ok to use hydrogen peroxide with BMO SPT or any other Mychorrizal Fungi product, worm casting or bat guano?

My bottle of BMO SPT arrived yesterday. I dropped 4tbs of strait-up, right-from-the-bottle into one 4gal rez and 1tbs into another 4gal rez. So far 24hrs nothing to report yet.

I have been useing regular chlorinated municipal water and 4tbs of H2O2 in my 4gal rez's. But I haven't added any H2O2 or chlorinated water in a week and 5 days to my rez when I added the BMO SPT. I assume the H2O2 and chlorine have evaporated?

If I get no results by Monday I'm gonna change my rez water useing a Pur facet system to remove the chlorine for one rez and use 48hr tap water (letting tap water sit for 48hrs to evaporate chlorine). Then I'm gonna run that for 24hrs so my plants just get water. After that I'm going to give one rez 4tbs and the other 1tbs of BMO SPT.

Eventually I plan on making guano and casting teas to run in my hydroponic set up. Organics are super inexpensive. It's amazing what mother nature will give away for free.

Acea74... You should not use Hydrogen Peroxide or Chlorinated Water with the SPT, it will kill the mycho fungi & some of the bacteria. Your right to let your tap water sit for a couple of days. That does release 99% of the chlorine, so that's good. The charcoal filter would be real good with your tap water, because it also takes out processing salts used at municipal water treatment plants. These salts sometimes lock up nutrients, making them unavailable to your plants.

I prefer soil, so I can't really advise you on doses to use. But the old rule of start low, build slow - is the safe way to go.

& Yes... Organic Fertilizers Rule.... Worm Castings, Rabbit Poop, Chicken Poop, Molasses (unsulphured) & Bat Guanos have no equal - when applied properly. The buds are fatter, frostier & just taste better.

Acea74... what strain are you growing ? I have used Blue Mtn Organics " Super Plant Tonic " on Skunks, Lowryder, Lowryder 2, AK 47 - all with good results. All were done in soil or semi-soilless mixes. I swear SPT will make a plant go root bound in a 55 gallon barrel. Amazing Stuff. I am curious how it does in hydro. Since, GrapeOptimo hit a bump in the road - maybe you can give us the scoop.

News Flash... The dude selling BMO SPT on Ebay is back to accepting money orders, not just credit cards. I told him, many organic gardeners - didn't do credit cards (they are bad) & that he should take money orders again. Since, I am a repeat customer... He thought it over & agreed. He changed one of the listings for Super Plant Tonic where you can buy without a credit card. Just search for Organic Fertilizer or Super Plant Tonic... One of the auction listings only takes credit cards, the other takes both... FYI & Peace...

Currently I have 3 WW and 1 NL in its 3rd week of budding in a DIY areo (4 5gal buckets and 1 10gal Sterilet tub). I ran tap water in my 20gal rez for 1 week because I over nute'd some plants. NL is in bad shape. The water read 150 ppm today and 8 ph. So I assume there isn't much salt build up in my rez and I hope the chlorine is gone by now. So without changing the water I ph'd to 6 and added half strength GH Maxibloom and half strengh GH Koolbloom to my 20gal flowering rez. I have the rez bubbling with 75gal dual outlet pump connected to two air stones anlong with a 75 gal powerhead that swivels to keep nutes airated and moving. I'm gonna let this "brew" for a couple of hours and then add 5oz of strait BMO SPT to the rez.

Over on the veg side I have WW, NL and Cron. Rev. I have a 4 DIY 4gal areo setups (10gal Sterlite tub with 6 3.75 net pots). In one areo setup I have 4 WW clones that are about 1ft high that I added 4tbs of SPT to. Nothing happened there so I assume it was either the chlorine or H2O2. On the other I have 1 Cron. Rev. clone and two CR from seed. I added 1tbs of SPT and nothing happend there. Agian, I assume it was either the chlorine or H2O2. So I'm gonna change the water as planed. One is gonna have Pur water the other is gonna have "48hr water" added to it. I'm gonna add the same amounts of SPT and nutes then wait.

The other two setups I have one with 2 NL and the other has 1 CR and 2 NL all plants around 3ft high. These I'm not expermenting with SPT yet. These are the ones that are gonna flower next.

I been expermenting with water changing as well. The 3 plant 1ft high Cron Rev. set up hasnt had its water chaged in over 2months. I just add tap water and H2O2. The 4 plant 3ft NL and 1 CR setups havent been changed in a month along with the 4 plant 1ft WW setup. Haven't had any problems yet. Everthign is green and lush.

I think if you are a non-organic hydro grower its fine to use chlorinated municipal water and H2O2 from Wallyworld. I have yet to experiance any problems yet besides killing the SPT. I mist with a graden hose and sprayer connected to the tap. I even watered 2week old clones this way. But water changes from city to city. I hear more and more cities are not useing chlorine anymore and switchign to H2O2.

Acea74, Don't be bummed about the chlorine / hydrogen peroxide / SPT clash. SPT is still full of vitamins, trace minerals & highly soluble (low dose) NPK. Your plants will still benefit from them.

Man you've got quite a garden going there. I just have a few Skunks here & there (in the great outdoors) and just started a dozen Lowryder 2's. I meant to do it a few days ago. Got sidetracked. I'll post a grow diary when they break the surface. I'll wait a few weeks & start some more.

They are neat little plants, grow fast (60 days & your done) - they're just a little light on the yield. Average about 18-28 grams dried bud. Not bad really, considering they are a true dwarf. The really good part about them is the smoke - mellow like - Skunk - no couch lock or instant dumbass - which I get with AK-47. I think they should prescribe AK-47 to kids with ADHD - it would surely help.

Once things get leveled out, I'm sure the SPT will impress you. It has me & I'm not an easy sell. Plus, I like the fact it's a small company (really a community) is making it & it's all organic. Not some Big Fert Company.

Thanks for the info.. I look forward to hearing more, since I have not hydro'd with SPT. Heck, I haven't hydro'd in a few years. I'm interested in how it will perform overall - in soil it kicks ass......I may have to clean the garage out, knock off some dust & do some leak checks...

SPT or not, I'm sold on the Mychorrizal Fungi. I saw an episode of Mordern Mavels on History that was about fertilizers. It's a very good episode.They went into detail about Mychorrizal Fungi and its benefits. I recomend anyone reading to see it.

The fact that it's made by a community of hippies got me sold on SPT. My wife an I are total hippies at heart.
