after decades of bangers and mash, fried spam and mash, cod and mash, spam, baked beans spam, and mash...............................
What's spam taste like? I've seen it but never felt the need to indulge given the abundance of real food in the grocery store.

We've lots of farms and produce far more food than we need domestically, produce is so cheap people don't really eat that sorta shit.

I know it comes in a can, is it a block? Do you need to cut it up?
yeah....lol.....a block o' meat. with very heterogeneous consistency. light, dark, meaty, fatty. imagine running pigs over with industrial lawn-mowers, raking the bits together, and congealing it in a can. I've eaten it, decades ago, back when I would eat anything. fried to death, on toast.

Pretty sure I included more than just EIC.

"Or just flat out under reporting income. Or the billions of other ways people scam the IRS."

Now back to the motives. How does a S. American government benefit from an illegal collecting tax fraud money in the US? Do they give their tax refunds to their home countries government? Explain it to me. This isn't a dig, it's a serious question.

I fail to see how this achieves their 'goal' as explained in this thread.

If a country really wanted to burden the US, wouldn't they do like Castro did and send boatloads of crazy, violent criminals to our shores straight out of their jail system? Seems to me that'd be much more effective.

Now on to the IRS knocking on somebodies door.. I'm willing to bet it's the other way around. Citizens whose return was rejected on the basis that they've already filed would likely contact the IRS themselves pretty damn quickly, don't you think? I know I would.
The recipients send money back to their families, but I fail to see why you suddenly claim it doesn't count unless the "governments" profit. They'll be getting part of that $2.7 billion, too. I never heard of a tax return being "rejected". Just audited. It's still the real taxpayer being contacted. Why are you trying to pretend differently?

Most Americans have done that work. A growing minority think "Because busting you ass for 50 hours a week and still not being able to pay your bills isn't the american way, we have higher expectations." You expect others to support you. That isn't higher, that's disgraceful.
Who said me? You have this inclination to want to attack people on here. You should see a therapist about that, thanks to obama that's probably covered under your insurance.

Also, if Americans were willing to do those jobs then why aren't they? I'm sure everything being equal a business owner would rather give a job to an american over an illegal.

Way to explain how this is in the best interest of S. American countries. Clearly you have no point to argue here. I can totally see how people sending money back to their families (something I'm sure legal immigrants do all the time) would suddenly give some S. American country the upper hand. Yes, they are doing it so they can get a fraction of a fraction of money through sales taxes and the like. GREAT plan. All you need to do is usher out part of your capable workforce.

The IRS has a list of rejection codes for the sole purpose of never rejecting a filing. Ok. They just accept everything and never compare it to the data they have in order to verify as much as possible. Cause that would be crazy, huh? Nah, they just send out blank checks and rely on audits.

And I'm the one trying to pretend differently?

No body said Guatemala was trying to conquer the USA. Now you're trying to argue things no one said. So far, your claim of rejected tax returns consists of you just repeating the claim and embellishing it with more unsupported claims. I'll not bother replying to you, again.

If you can't handle rejection of your ideas, perhaps you should not post them in a public forum.

WTF is this thread about then? S. American countries admitting their horrible conditions and giving their citizens a way out?

I hacked IRS.gov and published this just for you!
http://www.irs.gov/uac/Common-Error-Reject-Codes-(ERCs)-for-Individual-Tax-Returns-&-Suggested-Solutions

But yanno.. they never reject a filing. They only do audits. You are incredibly stubborn.
