Help me with these 75 clippings/clones

I've been offered 75 clippings/clones of sour diesel and I have the space to accommodate them...this would be my first grow

My question is how many 1000w lights would I need? What size boxes should I use for each light and how many plants should be placed in each box? What type of yield should I realistically expect and what should I do to get a max yield in 9 weeks?

Oh and I was thinking of running everything off a generator ..bad idea?

600s would ultimately be a shit ton cheaper, given the power vs lumen output, but this isn't debate time. Fact remains, you're going to be spending a good bit to do this properly, and given that this is your first grow.. I'm almost tempted to tell you to take 8 total, and experiment so you get a feel for it before you engage in anything bigger - especially in terms of medium preference, nutes, ventilation and other that can introduce major headaches. First grow, you won't get max yield short of a CO2 setup with perfectly dialed in conditions, and is why a smaller test run is highly recommended.

As for boxes... don't bother, just use a whole room - you're going to need the space, and depending on the size of the room, it may not be enough as it is.

Agreed. You'd spend a lot of money for not a great yield. Just to get set up for 8 you need light, tent, vortex fan, regular fan, pots, soil, reflective material, venting, nutrients, water filter, lots of electricity + odds and ends . You're in well over $1000 bucks right there. To spend $5000 and have them all die would really suck.

See if you can grow just a few and see what the results are. Clones are cheap and easy to come by. You could even grow a few of those clones into mothers and have endless clones. 8 sounds like fun, 75 sounds like a nightmare. Not to mention the legal risk of growing so many plants. Depending on where you are the cops may turn their head at a few plants.. 75 sounds like a day in court no matter where you are.

Depends on the strain, conditions, bulbs, how you've done the watts/sq ft and so on - if it's something small, and works for you, that's okay. I'd aim for something higher as a personal grow though.

It's sour diesel..I have a huge space, definitely enough for all 75 when mature..was looking into 1000w bulbs...and co2..I don't think 2 zips is worth the time n effort tho

I have someone to guide me that has more experience than I do, but he's not as advanced as some of you guys, that's why I'm here..

pretty much.
if you have never grown before, i don't suggest trying to go big. you will waste a lot of $$$. grow out a couple first, research lighting, new lighting being used are gavitas, lots of videos on yoututbe.

Ok far enough...
One more thing..I see some guys pretty content with yields of only 2 zips per plant
Is that what I should be content with?

Clippings or clones? HUGE difference if you've never cloned before.....
You can cover 5x5 with a 1000w how many plants you can put in that area depends on how you grow them.

Yield? About a pound

At least 500 lights
Boxes should be off the gaylord variety, and doused in any flammable solvent of your choosing, one plant per box.
Yield, Something in the <=-0 range would be my guess.
