..........well I tried/did the best I could given the circumstances. Wish it would have turned out better, but it is what it is now.....Maybe Alta led absorbed them? Or they where always just an offshoot for the main company? Idk....haven't heard anything from them since and I still have old sparky in my possession!....next test grow panel should be an interesting one .......not telling atm.......shhhhhh

The red LED's are actually made from red sapphires. The sapphires are finely ground and applied to the LED chips for a pure saturated red. This is an expensive process, but it's the best way to get the 660 nanometer red that enhances the flowering stage.

I shoulda known that when I plugged t8 led into the search I would see all the same players posting. LOL!
I wanted to ask if ya all think two of these would cover cloning and some small plants? I am separating a 2x4x5 tent into two veg spaces. bottom will be bigger plants with some diy cob fixtures. The top will do clones and small yins and I was thinking a couple tubes in an old t-8 would work perfect. I could even just make my own fixture with the tubes...
Thoughts?

When AT came out with their T8 tubes a guy on the farm did a side by side veg growth test...even growth with with just under half the wattage of T5's.
The new cree tubes are looking as good if not better so you should be fine if T5 like growth is what you are comparing to.

Thanks for the answer GG. Yea.. I am looking for that kind of growth for the first stages of veg. I was thinkin just two of them for a roughly 2'x4'x 2'h area for clones and party cups.
I am working on some veg lights now for the bigger veg area below. I have been working on upgrading my space size and moving out of the cabinet. I am also slowly working towards being all LED.
BTW, I cant wait to update my build thread with pics. Things are starting to bud up nicely under the leds.

down sizing to a tv set armoir stealth cab .... and also am new to LEDs and would like some advice on what company and what size would be good for something like this?

The led quandary is: most of the better ones have lens angles and high intensity that requires ~ 20-30"+ above the canopy, at least initially, until the plant/s acclimate
Lens-less COBs might do the trick, but that's a DIY- a fairly simple one though these days

Hans 65 watt. You can let the plants get nice and close plus it's a great choice for a stealth setup. Google bonsaihero to find it. Good Luck.
