I refer to them as leaf growers. I'm a bud grower, I don't fixate on leaves. I do address the hell out of the roots.

I agree, older fan leaves that lose their "luster" and then lose their efficiency too. I think there is a point that a small leaf has to reach in size before it becomes power producing and not leeching itself, so there is a balance to be made, I believe. It could be active pruning or defoliation throughout the life of the plant.

And if you actually read something, other then your own delusions, you would know the roots support the top and determine the size, shape and density of the top.
Not to mention you ignorance using no spin paint. Moron. And it just leaves a layer of soil that prohibits root growth and they spiral on the inside of that. I've seen them used 30 years ago. And was explained why they aren't used in fruiting plants. Guess you missed that page. Again if you missed the point, you're a moron!
