I hit them with neem on Friday evening, so I'll get out the caterpillar spray and hopefully that will control them. For fricks sake it's one after the other this year lol. That's ok knowledge is earned and I'm earning it!!!!

So should I use mavrick too for contact kill? I've had a real good look and can't find any more mature larvae around, I've been using the mavrick every two or three weeks to discourage chewing insects, I isually get these on my lemons and gardenias but first time on my girls.

Yep agree with nugget...I used the same stuff when they were young and only two sprays cleaned them all up.
Where I live we wont see them now till after harvest with our dry conditions.

Im starting my weekly spray for mites when I get home in a few days they have always been my number one pest and im not waiting for them to show up before I treat this time, ive put to much effort into this season.

If thats a kingfish yes we do....they are known in my area but more so 80km away where the converge on an area that has warm waters ..its only an hours drive by car to launch the boat and 20 mins by boat to get to them

that's a yellowtail. A member of the jack family . not sure if you call them king fish over there which is different then our king fish on the east coast . the fish you show looks like what we call a Pargo or dog tooth snapper caught in the warm water of Bajaj 500 miles and down.

The pic you posted is what we call here a yellowtail kingfish...same fish

Both of these fish are caught in waters here anywhere from 16ft- up to 80ft

If your only bug problem is worms in veg consider yourself very lucky! The BT takes a little time to work but after a few sprays you won't notice any, just make sure you continue with it. This is the 4th year ive grown weed and ive encountered every fucking pest there is. Im sure the mites in my yard have developed an immunity to insecticides. As much as i hate the bugs without them i don't think i would enjoy growing plants as much as i do. You have to respect how resilient they are. Goodluck mate!

Yeah I had mites last year, but I managed to
Keep them at bay with neem oil and mavrick alternating between sprays.
Yates has a new product called success that is more wife spectrum but non toxic so I'll give that a go too at some point.

We get those king fish and snapper here in new zealand. By far they're the most hyped about fish here hah But you get them closer to shore, some people fish for them of the rocks and it can be tough becasue the kingys as we call them will quite easily snap you of on a rock or something so its quite a challenege
