The an/a rule catches out most folk on this forum from what i have noticedoh shit, i didn't even notice you tried to call me AN idiot but used improper grammar while doing it. top shelf burn there.
if you spoke with an accent that pronounced idiot with a H sound, then (a) idiot would be correct)
this could be possible with Irish or Jamaican accents
for most English speakers that pronounce idiot with a vowel (I) or (e) sound (an) idiot would be correct)
eejit sounds better though
