So we are clear, would you mind telling us if Sharia has been recognized, at all, by the Courts in Australia?

Here it is obvious.

Envoking Sharia in US Court has no more weight than saying "the debil mades me do it." So, neither are allowed as defense.

No Sharia law here and it will never be law here as it CANNOT coincide with our current legal/justice system. Just the same as it will not be recognised in any courtroom in the US - IMO...

A man who whipped a Muslim convert 40 times as punishment for drinking alcohol and taking drugs because of a "contorted" belief in sharia has been jailed for at least 16 months, with a magistrate saying he had "brought much shame upon the Islamic faith".

Wassim Fayad, 45, was one of four men sentenced on Friday for their assault upon Cristian Martinez in July, 2011.

He was whipped 40 times with an electric cord in his Silverwater home, while three other men held him down on his bed.

There's no support for Sharia here, especially in a criminal law sense... Plus the reality is NO COURT & GOVERNMENT could administer two parallel legal systems....

A very good point. And this is why I have 12 high powered rifles, night vision scopes, and over 5,000 rounds and counting. Oh and 3 suppressors, and working on a 308, 26" barrel sniper rifle. And lots and lots of pot. Can't forget the pot.

That's the problem. Sharia does not allow a parallel legal system. Indonesia, and the Brunei moderates have given in recently. It is all part of the ruse of inner Jihad.

Sharia is set up to punish those that would have a parallel religion. It is very strict. No other worship can be allowed on earth ultimately. And all will be forced to worship Allah. Moderates are only allowed for Inside Conquest.

When that is done, like in Yemen recently, the Heavies take over from the Moderates.
