1 Billion Dollars Hacked?

So I woke up to read the newspaper and found this small article in the mercury about hackers stealing money from the banks. I then went online to check out how many news stations are getting on this and it was crazy...

Some of the "conspiracies" of the global economy meltdown involved missing money from the banks, I thought that was kind of interesting.

Also obama is trying to gain support for his remodeled internet defense center. So I think it could be a political ploy but seriously this could be a real big issue coming up in our lives as there isn't enough paper money for us all to hold our bank accounts in person. Can't just pull out your funds and throw it in the safe because there are only like 4,900 dollars per citizen.

Some interesting stuff going down.

10 mil at a time as not to arouse suspicion. And, directly from the banks, not their customers. That's gnarly.

That is one hell of a plan dude! These hackers are a piece of work. The math that goes into this stuff is way beyond me but I can appreciate someones talent with numbers to do something like this!

If you walked up to an ATM and it just start spitting out money, would you return it or keep it ?

London.

I had that happen one time. When the money started coming out the slot it was all wadded up and folded up and gave me 60.00 more dollars than I asked for. Then I started looking around and seen cameras everywhere and walked in the bank and gave the extra back. They sent me a thank you letter in the mail.

Hey I can't find the link to download the software and start stealing from the bank.
Steal from a thief is not really stealing.
Yah...they hit JP Morgan particularly, eh?

Meanwhile, the NSA has backdoor software on most hard drives via the firmware ! Fucking bastards!

Russia and Iran are sure busy. I wonder why that could be?
There's plenty of cyber-war going on 24/7.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. reports that bank fees have declined nearly 21% in the past four years, from $41.1 billion in 2009 to $32.5 billion last year.

1 billion ain't shit.

Didn't half the banks disappear during that time? I know it started around the end of 2008, so the stats could be tainted a little bit.

i like that you asked someone smarter than you, since you are clearly not bright enough to do a google search. that seems to be your style though, going through life dimmer than a burnt out bulb, no use for facts, or spelling, or science, or anything else that would be remotely useful to even the most marginally intelligent human beings.

you should hire a mexican school kid to speak for you, you would gain at least 25 intelligence quotient points and would be less hindered by the overwhelming amount of hateful bigotry you possess.

that is my advice to you.

I am still failing to see how 1 billion doesn't matter. Not saying it is something that couldn't have been predicted but it is pretty big for stealing from banks. Usually it is stealing from the people.
