One obvious thing mentioned in the article is violence. The Europeans for some reason got real good at violence before the rest of the world, so they conquered and impeded the progress of other nations.

Also, they brought new diseases to the rest of the world that wiped out masses of people - while the Europeans were immune to these diseases. I somewhat guessed this as a reason and stated so in a previous post.

I never stated the advance of Europe was because of superior intelligence. I am not a white supremacist, and I am not a racist.
