did some fishing but not much catching this weekend. i set up some cameras for a new blind...seems like a good spot, not 100 yards from where i am fishing.

Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency confirms New Largemouth Bass Fishing Record​

February 22, 2015 Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has confirmed that a new state record for a largemouth bass has been established, breaking the previous mark which was set more than 60 years ago.
The new state record fish weighs in at 15 pounds, 3 ounces. Friday, February 13th proved to be a very lucky and history-making day for angler and new record holder Gabe Keen who made the catch on Chickamauga Reservoir.

Thanks for the info bro !! Just need to snatch-up some equipment & I'm set to go ! When I was a kid, I always used the little "white grub worms" available @ any store. Re-useable rubber grubs with a swirling tail, that fish can't seem to resist . Hopefully, I'll have some luck with them this season.

LOL every year the fishing mags have all the latest and greatest lures, spinners, blah blah blah. my go to on many ponds is a purple worm and Mister Twister's.

raw shrimp is my go to. little pricey but you can call it catching instead of fishing.

yes were all waiting on better weather,,last summer in search of the elusive muskie,,,all I caught everyday was northern pike and walleye,,going back this year to the same place for another try
