February 22, 2015 Nashville, TN – The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency has confirmed that a new state record for a largemouth bass has been established, breaking the previous mark which was set more than 60 years ago.
The new state record fish weighs in at 15 pounds, 3 ounces. Friday, February 13th proved to be a very lucky and history-making day for angler and new record holder Gabe Keen who made the catch on Chickamauga Reservoir.

I always start with the Fish and Game state site. Usually have fishing reports and maps.Very Nice ! ~ Haven't gone fishing in years and I really do miss it. This summer, I'm gonna have a look around the Carolinas for some good fishing spots

Thanks for the info bro !! Just need to snatch-up some equipment & I'm set to go ! When I was a kid, I always used the little "white grub worms" available @ any store. Re-useable rubber grubs with a swirling tail, that fish can't seem to resist . Hopefully, I'll have some luck with them this season.I always start with the Fish and Game state site. edit: also this magazine specializes in hunting and fishing by state and worth a year's sub
