No.... they wont hahaha ive been growing these lines for some time now and I always take my males out to at least 5 or 6 weeks into flower to be sure they arent going to herm up on me or anything (in which case I can the seeds I used his pollen for) and I have never seen a single trichome

i noticed the frost was nice when the male fades like the fem, have u let em fade? i took some 9+ and the smells n finger hash was awesome!

I haven't grown out but maybe 7-8 males in my day, and I haven't seen any trichomes on them, but with growing only 7 or 8, I can surely say my experience isn't exactly conclusive...No.... they wont hahaha ive been growing these lines for some time now and I always take my males out to at least 5 or 6 weeks into flower to be sure they arent going to herm up on me or anything (in which case I can the seeds I used his pollen for) and I have never seen a single trichome
Tell ya one thing though.... If I grew a male that had crystals?... i'd be keeping that pollen...

Maybe you are just growing the wrong strains to find males? I am sure there are some strains out there that produce bomb ass male plants.

don't get me wrong, all the males I have grown were of some good genetics, just never seen any with crystals.
They were some good males, just not crystally, their female offsprings were though.

Not saying they bad at all just that different strains carry different traits. Those males didn't get the trichome trait. But your females do
which is what matters most!

Pollen chucking is some good fun, only thing is my landlord runs like 50 plants outside and I would imagine he'd get sorta butthurt... and I don't have another room to do males in.
I did get me some new Bodhi genetics though... and well... his stuff is pretty damn great looking. May have to keep a stud or two...

F3 of Chunk x Cannalope haze. Made the F1 over a year ago based on a male that had stalked trics on the edges of larger fans. Looking for some space to flower a few larger and longer outdoors to let those trics develop. They start out like that on my females too so pretty sure they get stalks eventually.
Looks like a shemale or male hermie. "bagseed male"... nuff said.

I am almost positive its just strain dependant, ive seen some space queen males drippin in goo and other strains like my pinkie pie are frosty as hell if its a girl but otherwise completely devoid of trichs.
