What happened was the SCOTUS was told to rule on a qualification or stipulation for a marriage benefit incentive drawn up by the Governments of States. First illegal; act.

The SCOTUS changed a qualification in a government incentive from Man and Woman to just marriage. the second illegal act.

So ya, I lost, but it`s how that happened that is what fucked everybody else. You can live with that,...I can too, but I wont honor it if it ever happened to something I controlled. The SCOTUS did leave the option to bring it to the people, at the time, the Democratic controlled House and Senate, would not do that because they needed Democratic support for the Elections and if the People said No, it would mean that putting it before the SCOTUS was the wrong thing to do.

Americans got fucked and I`m bitching about it while Gays celebrate it. Democrats at work for you........

Science does not dictate what male and female genitals are for.

The APA and others like it don`t either.

An innate desire to, can disqualify you from qualifications or stipulations...

Can you come up with the law brought forth to the SCOTUS and challenged the 14th that patty thinks exists?

beyond that, nature assigned it no intentionality. nature doesn't care, nature doesn't say that a penis is for one thing or another. it has a function and that is it.

Pretty sure Federal Law only covers marijuana because of the Interstate Commerce clause.

Either way, those arguing against equality for all citizens is quite telling.

You can never have equality for all citizens, they are of different ages. Those who think they can achieve equality for all and be able to enforce that, are fighting a battle that should have been avoided. Equal treatment even has limits before infringement takes over.

You can have equality of opportunities from the Govt for all citizens.

That's kind of a cornerstone of a free society.

If one group gets something, another group gets it too.

Equality.

Want an example?

Let's legalise pot, but not for tall people.

If one group get`s the other should too has never worked. It can`t.

Well they legalized alcohol, But not for all people.

I don`t want anything I didn`t earn and I shouldn`t have to change to meet the norm.

As far as the Gov. benefits go,... Handicap spots are a Gov. privilege and not for all people. A Gov. shouldn`t treat what`s bad for the Nation equally as what`s good for the Nation. Diversity is a good thing. There will always be people who will never accept Gay marriage as equal to Man Women, What do you do with them ? Are they evil cuz they don`t ?

I see your point.

However, if all people are "given" (forced) the ability to seek government permission in the first place to declare themselves married, isn't the equality they would be sharing one of equal subservience, rather than equal freedom?
