What scares me more is the lack of understanding of the technology involved.
It then causes me to question why people are so quick to believe the other issue.
It seems to me addressing strategies for energy REDUCTION will do more to alter the world beneficially than arguably impractical techno-alchemy.
So does this guy:

Well yes and no. Maybe better efficiency can come from simply utilising the energy we're currently spending so much money on power to combat; Solar panels as roofing material. Fuel cells. Heat pumps. These have the ability to both do their jobs efficiently and do them without nearly as much damage to the environment.

@ heckler ... My phone blows.. Can't watch vids .

Would you say the Japanese are as technologically advanced as anyone else on Earth ?

They were not prepared for what mother nature can undo in the blink of an eye.. And with climate change- one thing is indisputable.. Storms and natural disasters are growing more fierce.

I make huge amounts of money because the government pays 40% of my wages. Gotta love 'em.
Your employer did get a tax credit for hiring you because you are a felon recently release from prison. Same as hiring someone who is a military veteran. I doubt you make huge amounts of money at your shitty welding job. The money is in under water welding or Industrial pipes welding

A few observations:

  • I have concluded through 40+ years of research that 98% of Americans are ignorant and will believe anything that is repetitively told to them. Most are incapable of critical thinking.
  • They had the Pope chime in because if you're of the mind to believe in Catholicism then man made climate change isn't much of a stretch. If the Pope wants to slow co2 emissions he should maybe mention to 3rd world populations that it might not be a bad idea to consider birth control, but that would decrease the power of the church.
  • MMCC gives me better yields than I had 20 years ago.
So you don't believe in AGW, but you say it gives you better yields. There's only one person stupid enough to give that post a like and he also has a habit of replying to people he has on ignore.

That's unfortunate. Take a gander at that vid when you find a computer.

Yes, but their 40+ year old reactors weren't. They were literally 3 generations behind, and should not be considered the current state of the technology.

You may need to be a little more specific on what the definition of "storms and natural disasters" means in the context used. I'm looking at (supposed) data which suggests otherwise.

Evidently, there is a huge El-Nino that is causing mayhem all over the world, but in the second paragraph,...this huge bad boy is not willing to effect North America.

So either we`re safe because our taxes are to high for the storms, or, we can`t see what they say, ....trust them,...they are not lying,...just ask them.......

The Japanese reactors were fine,.. they did not suffer huge staff limitations as the new and improved high tech. and re-breathers.

That is not a safety issue, it is a capability issue yet to be solved.

were you aware that the government will actually give you money for energy efficient appliances, windows, and the like?

so much for your retarded persecution theory that this will come out of your pocket somehow, idiot.
Were you aware that whenever the government "gives" you anything they had to take it from somebody else?

Looking at that graph, it actually does seem to show a trend towards more major hurricanes .
