So You Hate the EPA, huh?

I know what Salazar said. He obviously tried to provide cover for the fraud. If the lease was the end-all then why push the fraud so long. Is this government maneuvering and fraud acceptable to you.
The EPA is mentioned in a quote by Skinner in the link I shared concerning it.
What fraud?
The lease was specific, the laws were specific. The only thing vague is your understanding of anything

This is great. You can't think of what to say, so you respond with the equivalent of "I know you are but what am I?". I'll repeat my question to you: If a person or a company pollutes the surface water that runs onto your property, renders your property unusable, denies doing so and refuses to go through arbitration, what means would you use to collect compensation?
Before answering your questions, will you agree to answer some of mine without distractions, insults and non answers ? I'd consider a dialogue but it's not worth it if question answering isn't reciprocal.

Also, I see the hyenas have liked your post, that's good, if they read along it, they might learn something.

I only promise to be every bit as annoying as you. If you want to have a real discussion then give straightforward answers and I'll do the same.

Meh, I don't buy all that "beneficial bacteria" talk.

I pump my root zone full of chemical fertiliser, it doesn't need processing or digestion it's just all the elements a plant needs to do the work itself.
Cannazym is not a beneficial bacteria. That's what Piranha and Tarantula are for. So far, AN has my Kosher Tangie sitting pretty. I'll give you an update next month

Thank you FP. They definitely admitted for fucking up. But is 3 million gallons of toxins an [un]educated guess? Or is it [f]actual data?
What is the total volume discharged on August 5?

The spill volume associated with the release on August 5 is calculated to be approximately three million gallons based on flow rates. Current discharge rates from the mine are averaging around 600 gallons per minute. For context, there are multiple mines along the upper Animas, and historically there has been considerable discharge at each mine site. The Red and Bonita Mine, just below Gold King Mine, is currently discharging about 300 gallons per minute.

Whatever Go learn to grow so yo are not just trolling here.
Talk about sour grapes. You raised an issue that didn't have anything to do with the EPA (it was the park service), you insist he read a link you post. When he does, the very same article you posted contained the information he used to refute your assertions. You called the final actions by Salazar a cover for fraud but fail to explain how you determined there was fraud. Then you accuse him of being a troll. Dave, you don't seem to be altogether with it. But you are everything I expect from a libertarian.

Ok, so it seems that the EPA did in fact cause a spill of 3 million gallons of toxins, and is then questioning who will be paying for the clean up.

Which means, the cartoon that [whoever that was] posted, is actually correct.

Thanks Dave. Come back any time you feel you need a trouncing. I feel kind of dirty beating up on a right winger half wit but I was glad to oblige your request.
Sure, I guess since I don't play your games you can pretend to have trounced someone. It is because of people like you and cheesehead allowing the govt. to commit fraud to force through policy you agree with, that emboldens these unelected officials to continue to do so. What goes around...

I don't know about the cartoon. The EPA caused the spill and isn't contesting that they are responsible. Because the EPA caused the spill, the taxpayers are liable. The EPA's subcontractor underestimated the pressure behind the pool of water coming from that mine and, it became a disaster. In my opinion, the EPA attempted to do the right thing but they exceeded their mandate. The spill was inevitable without EPA intervention. But I'm not happy about this either.

There are two more inevitable spills inn the vicinity that will be worse if nothing is done

No...

They are lacking in environmental regulations but they are most fucking definately NOT a free market...

It's China, ie Communism, ie not free market with the single exception of Hong Kong.
Well they unfairly COMPETE in a global free market...

Both the US and China compete in a variety of markets...the Chinese government subsidizes some of their products leading to "dumping" and other unfair trade practices...

For example, both countries produce steel...the free market determines the price per finished ton. If company A sells for $1 a pound, company B has to match it or lose business. American companies can compete because shipping 50,000 pound coils half way around the globe isn't cheap...but then the Chinese government gives their companies cash, the companies then can sell it for less...and American companies and jobs get ass fucked. Then, they devalue the yen and get an even bigger advantage...

So China may not technically BE a free market...but the free global market is where they compete...and frequently win by cheating...
And if America doesn't soon wise the fuck up...China will be the main supplier of steel used in sensitive military applications...NOT the best idea...
