Exactly....I'm saying they won't go in your package just cause....it's a reason....SUSPICIOUS... Not your name, address, or where it's from.... SUSPICIOUS... That's what I'm saying is a reason....That isn't necessarily correct. I run a very profitable business on the dark net and usps packages either
1. Get lost because the postal service are complete morons
2. The postal inspector gets suspicious and checks your package.
Now fed ex and ups are more money to ship but you're less likely to have a package seized . On the flip side of that , UPS does have k9 dogs check certain hubs at random.
I do agree 110% with your comment about trusting the shipper on the other end.
To the gentlemen saying "they can't search packages without a warrant" lol
"Probable cause" since 9/11 the United states postal inspector can and will search any package they feel may be suspicious. Suspicious - if it has any funny marks , grease stains from sitting on a dirty counter top , excessive tape ...... I can go on and on. ...
How do I know this ? I know a guy that knows a guy. I can submit proof of the handbook and what they areally trained to look for .
As I stated above , I run a very profitable business online and deal with this stuff on a daily basis.
It's randomDamn then I'm all wrong... Sorry to hear that. So do they X-ray every package or randomn?

Now is that an error on worker or was it inspected because it was at the wrong hubThis is correct but it can still get flagged . I've had 5 , 10 k sent to me with express and never had an issue. Only problems I've had is a pack getting sent to the wrong hub and having to wait a day or two extra.
Well , you can get flagged and your name goes on "the list" lol
That's more common with customs and inbound overseas paks. Especially coming in from China. Cocksuckers are all over packs coming from there. It's a fucking nightmare. Lol
No , the people working for usps are morons. Package got scanned incorrectly , misplaced in the wrong truck. Usually human errorNow is that an error on worker or was it inspected because it was at the wrong hub

What about how frequent mail comes to an address? Is that Suspicious? Or when does it get suspicious? No , the people working for usps are morons. Package got scanned incorrectly , misplaced in the wrong truck. Usually human error
Very seldom do they check express packages, unless like I said ...it looks suspicious
That's why I don't like fed ex or ups....Imo - I think fed ex ground is safest..anything coming from Colorado or Cali could be targeted by thieves or inspectors, anything going on a plane gets scrutinized more.. With these crazy fucks trying to take aircraft down.
as far as i know, even if a dog alerted to a USPS package, they need a warrant. Prolly takes a hour to get it at that point, but point is if you ship priority they need to keep it moving.
Actually, its exactly the truth... Not sure where you get your info? This couldn't be further from the truth. The postal inspector has the authority to open any package they feel may or may not contain "contraband"
Now , just because they open a package does that automatically make it a case in court . No , because as you stated they need a warrant and technically they didn't have one BUT they could argue in court that it's no longer your property the minute you went into a federal facility and placed a federal stamp on it. It's a grey area.
Usually , they'll use this sneak and peek as a means to investigate and then start watching . Once they have surveillance, then they'll get the warrant etc etc .
Now if you're pushing 50 elbows across the country ..chances are. ...eventually you're gonna get caught. Nature of the beast. Petty things I wouldn't even sweat it. They're looking for big time people moving weight across the country.
Well that and "terrorist" activity (sarcasm)
I bullshit you not... I had got a temp job two years ago contracted with usps.... We would sort the mail from trucks and the permanent people would take it from racks and stack in this mail tent(that's not the correct name) that's going on a plane, but long story short this guy would hide a open mail and he found $80k and they way he got caught was he opened mail that had some dank smelling my which stunk up the whole warehouse as he was stuffing it in his pants....That's the thing though.. USPS hires thousands of temp employees as seasonal help..they ain't really losingva career..
So it's basically the Inspectors discretion...Actually, its exactly the truth... Not sure where you get your info?

4. Can Postal Inspectors open mail if they feel it may contain something illegal?
First-Class letters and parcels are protected against search and seizure under the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, and, as such, cannot be opened without a search warrant. If there is probable cause to believe the contents of a First-Class letter or parcel violate federal law, Postal Inspectors can obtain a search warrant to open the mailpiece. Other classes of mail do not contain private correspondence, and therefore may be opened without a warrant.
I would obviously use first class, the one size boxes work for me
