It's random
They don't have the manpower to examine every package. Certain items may get flagged
Ex: excessive tape on the package (one of the biggest flags)
Funny markings or writing. If the box has a stain . Sending a package to a flagged address

That's more common with customs and inbound overseas paks. Especially coming in from China. Cocksuckers are all over packs coming from there. It's a fucking nightmare. Lol

No , the people working for usps are morons. Package got scanned incorrectly , misplaced in the wrong truck. Usually human error
Very seldom do they check express packages, unless like I said ...it looks suspicious

Imo - I think fed ex ground is safest..anything coming from Colorado or Cali could be targeted by thieves or inspectors, anything going on a plane gets scrutinized more.. With these crazy fucks trying to take aircraft down.

I tend to go at these questions with a commen sense mentality......if I had to do shipping......I'd try to focus on busy shipping days for the usps. Just my opinion. I think usps can be quite grimey but if they think some herbs are worth losing a good paying job and federal charges......man you have fun with that shit.

This couldn't be further from the truth. The postal inspector has the authority to open any package they feel may or may not contain "contraband"
Now , just because they open a package does that automatically make it a case in court . No , because as you stated they need a warrant and technically they didn't have one BUT they could argue in court that it's no longer your property the minute you went into a federal facility and placed a federal stamp on it. It's a grey area.
Usually , they'll use this sneak and peek as a means to investigate and then start watching . Once they have surveillance, then they'll get the warrant etc etc .
Now if you're pushing 50 elbows across the country ..chances are. ...eventually you're gonna get caught. Nature of the beast. Petty things I wouldn't even sweat it. They're looking for big time people moving weight across the country.
Well that and "terrorist" activity (sarcasm)

I bullshit you not... I had got a temp job two years ago contracted with usps.... We would sort the mail from trucks and the permanent people would take it from racks and stack in this mail tent(that's not the correct name) that's going on a plane, but long story short this guy would hide a open mail and he found $80k and they way he got caught was he opened mail that had some dank smelling my which stunk up the whole warehouse as he was stuffing it in his pants....

I have federal documents on the whole investigation. I know first hand postal inspectors will and do inspect packages WITHOUT a federal warrant. I can also show you the multiple custom seizure letters my employees have received .
Now I came here to learn about cannabis (which i am a beginner) BUT moving illegal federally classed scheduled drugs is my world. You asked where I got my info , first hand experience and not something I copy and pasted off the Internet.

Let me take a guess , you probably don't believe dea agents and local narcs won't break into your crib to peek around.
Yeah , the constitution is great and all. ..couple hundred years ago. Those days are long gone and a federal agent or agency will do whatever it takes to make a case. Including postal inspectors (who wear badges and carry a gun) , they work with DHS and DEA .
