Yes, I have grown for the last two or three years with many different strains and every grow has been the same as far as that.

I'm thinking it's going to be your lights to far away then and rh. I keep my 600s @ 12in away in an air cooled hood.

Right but my light is 1000 watt and I keep it as close as possible without burning the tips. About 12 in's. And they are air cooled. I'm sure the middle isn't getting the light it needs.
I'm leaning towards the RH and or RO water.
I by passed the RO and dropped the RH for the rest of this grow. For the clones I just put in veg I'll do the same and go with your nute soup. And watch...

I agree with you on the scrogging. I need to play around with that. I do trim the bottom but I know i'll need to trim the lower branches more than I have been.

Yes thats the only thing i can think of from them pics.
Next grow tuck all the branches under the net and when all the branches are the same height then you flip. So the buds would all be 2-3 inches above the screen and the lights should be 24in above the canopy. So the bud might still strech 1-3 ft. But no higher. Then the plant will maximize the light. Also trim anything under the screen.

Hey... I've been growing for some years and have the same problem.

Advanced Nutrients... Pretty much the whole line... Botanicare CalMag Plus... Hydroton... Recirculating bubble buckets, but the last year has been flood and drain... was 600 watt mh veg and 600 watt hps flower... now t5 veg and 1000 watt double enders for flower. ..

I've been thinking I use calmag too long in flower (all but the last week)

Maybe it's too much nitrogen (from the calmag)

Maybe not enough Phosporous? I heard increasing that can increase density... (or was that k (Potassium)?)

I've tried different humidities..

I've tried more lights...

I runn PPM at least 1000 in flower

Always adjusting ph from 5.5 to 6.1

They've NEVER been dense.. always airy. I've ran tons of strains also.. some several times from clones...

Please help.

I'm thinking that I'm going to try to start adding gravity because I heard it hardens them up.

If anyone is watching this thred I had just transplanted 3 clones in veg at the time and have changed things a little to see if it helps with this grow.

I dropped the RH down to under 50. Was between 60 - 70
Now using the nutes at full strenth. Was using at half strenth.

I'm half way thru flower now and its looking good so far.so i'm hoping to see if that helps.
I'll repost in about 4 weeks and post the results.
