Are you utilizing those by any chance? Pics?
i just gorrillad that shit and popped the tops off my 100 brightstiks. the board came with one of the caps but reassembled easilySo they came in the mail today. 4 100w equivalent & 6 60w equivs. I was AMAZED @ how many more diodes there were on the 100's. 24!! Check it out!
Fyi- if you get these, the 60w bulbs are a breeze to take off the diffuser. Not the case on the 100w. You need to physically cut near the bottom of it and circle around. The clips are caulked in and support the board the diodes are on. The 60w though, you just press in the clips one at a time and they pop off
i just throw em in dark corners and suchAre you utilizing those by any chance? Pics?
What do you use to get those readings?gonna do some par and spectrums on these
where at? i cant even find these on costcos or feits siteThe FEIT brand is the best that you found. I found em online. 10 for $50.
i have a li-cor li-190 and an ocean optics spectrometer. got both for a couple hundred bucks each on ebayWhat do you use to get those readings?
I saw a bunch of apps out there for the phone but not sure a phone could be very accurate.
Found one for my apple phone but it's looking for some external device.
I can imagine lab type light meters are very expensive.
@Airwalker16 , did you actually buy any of these? the link online is jsut a slickdeals 'B&M' ("Brick and mortar, aka in-store only)The FEIT brand is the best that you found. I found em online. 10 for $50.

sent mrs. bobby_g to costco today and all they had were the 800 lumen 9W 60W equivalents
Call up Cree and ask!heres a fun read on crees design strategy for A19 bulbs and walks thru an example with XP-Es and a CXA 2011
http://www.cree.com/~/media/Files/Cree/LED Components and Modules/XLamp/XLamp Reference Designs/XLamp_A19_Ref_Design.pdf
if you plug those parameters into the PCT, its interesting that if you drop temp from 85C to 25C the lumen output jumps 15% from 822 to 947 for the system
moral of the story. even using the existing components of the A19 bulbs and say pulling the boards out and putting them on a real heat sink you would prob do something like
115 lm/W nameplate> remove diffuser and bump 10% to 126 lm/W >attach to real heatsink and bump 15% to 145 lm/W
beyond that you could throw them on a real driver running 95% efficiency and boost another 10% to 160 lm/W
i wish we could figure out what SMDs are used in these A19s so we could look up the specs....
Maybe up to about 1.5 ft tall. Can I veg with about 4 of these ge bright sticks set up in the corner of my open closet?
