Got my GE BrightStiks

I was going to use the hood as a reflector. drill in some light sockets that I pulled from a Hollywood vanity mirror awhile back. I was just messing with the bulb I pulled apart and they are just on a strip sort of glued to the aluminum center. It comes off but not sure it's even worth the effort at this point.

How will you're hps hoods work with moguls? Pics?

I use the hood not to reflect, but rather to house them in a small area for concentration. So.....

For the cree bulbs or my brightstiks?

i dunno about the cree bulbs.

again forward facing led bulbs dont cast that much off to the sides, but there is some.

These were in sale today at Home Depot and was going to add the picture till I stumbled across the ge bright sticks. 8 pack of those were much cheaper and more lumens then my first choice

For the hps housing I was just going to rig up a bunch of regular sockets in it to use the cree bulbs. But I think this is much better option and the pics above look like they are down the trick.

That's what I use currently for my cfl's just supplemental lighting. I clip them right in my ratchet hangers I hang my lights from

We are allowed 12 veg here so I usually drop 13 just in case. This run I did 14 and they all germinated so I stuck 2 in another room under 6 brightsticks as my little experiment. I'm shocked there was considerable movement in 24 hours. You guys are on to something

When you said hood all I could think was ghetto. Lol I bet a little is lost but not enough where another 8 watt bulb couldn't make up for if necessary

My hood is ghetto. It's diy but quite well made and useful.

you know what would be money for reflectors for these? the ledil angelina reflectors for 3590s.... or better yet jerrys 88 cent knock-offs

Had a little fun. My 100$ light bar and lights from Home Depot. I'm gonna run these 2 plants under these bright sticks then swap then to a soft white during flower and a little experiment. Drawing 55 watts I may need to add more leds.

Bobby I like the .88 cent idea but I haven't a clue what a knock offs jerrys is
