That's actually a single UVB Bulb.
Not sure about the calyx ratio. It's gotta lotta stem to leaf ratio, ha! Seriously tho, just so much more bud on every branch on the Amare side. There's more photosynthetic action going on w/ the white light so there's more leaf & bud.It looks like the nugs on the hydro hit side have a higher calyx to lead ratio than the solar spec in the photos. Is that accurate or is it just the photos?
You think the UV was noticeably helpful? Not sure about the calyx ratio. It's gotta lotta stem to leaf ratio, ha! Seriously tho, just so much more bud on every branch on the Amare side. There's more photosynthetic action going on w/ the white light so there's more leaf & bud.
As for the T-8 UVB-bulb. Its cool n all but I think x2 ,T-5, 18" bulbs or UV diodes would've been more effective honestly. Either way, I'm getting plenty of trichs.
I think it requires more. Hard to say though. Sometimes the mere presence of a certain color is enough to trigger what needs to be done. You think the UV was noticeably helpful?
Thanks! Im glad you like it! If anyone gains anything from it I'm happy! Bout toThis is a great journal Hybrid. You definitely know your stuff and it seems like you killed it with the Amare. I think my favorite thing which was also stated here is there is no claims or false claims. Basically it's a good powerful piece, use it and see for yourself. Then phenomenal grow journals like this prove its power and quality.
Impressive. You looking at the new Pro9 model? I'm tempted to buy 2 of them to cover my 5x9, but what I've read about Amare is the issue with the lenses and having to be at least 48" above canopy.
Yes, I've been considering it for awhile but I have the same issues with ceiling hight & my plants are pretty large. I'd like to see the same model made at 450w personally. I like all the Monos in it. I need about 450 Amare watts a plant personally to get the most out of each one. My quota each grow is one pound a plant in my normal grow conditions & enviornment. The grow on this thread is just something I threw together to do this much needed comparison. Already broke down the room.Impressive. You looking at the new Pro9 model? Nice! Did you know Amare has some new Pro-series coming out next month that are going to be similiar to the new SES-250 but bigger with 3590's & running between 450-500watts w/ 10 watters & colored monos? It will be long like the SES-250 & give the best coverage. 3590's w/ or w/o lenses, reflectors & enhanced white. I'm on it personally. Priced well too!Yup im torn. Its between amare or johnson for me. Johnson has the cx9 which uses the cxa3070 but they have a newer, air cooled model coming out that uses the cxb3950. The cx9 is like 1000 but the new model will be priced similar to their current cxb8 model which is 1600
2 per circuit. Or 2 daisy chained to one plug on one circuit. You could add a few things to itSo 2 daisy chained tona circuit would mean 2 per electrical circuit or 2 per daisy chain into an outlet? I was thinking 2 pro 9s for my 5x9
No! 2 Pro-9's is to much. I'm not positive if the 450's can be linked but asking Victor would be your best bet.I got a 15amp circuit with nothing on it anyways. I daisy chain 2 pro 9s and Im good to go? Any room for more?
If you look at the link I provided it shows the top of the 450 and there are two plugs. One for power and one for daisy chainNo! 2 Pro-9's is to much. I'm not positive if the 450's can be linked but asking Victor would be your best bet.
