Me too. And it doesnt kill my back/neck/hip pain, but it does "impair" it well enough to make life liveable without opiods...

Ya took the words right out of my smoke filled airways. Which are only impaired when listening to some kind of misinformed crap.
If they want impaired people off the road, a standard IQ test should be given before a licence is granted. People making dumb decisions while driving kill more people and fuck up more shit.

bill and his storm troopers just want arrests - so they can say, "see, gquebed was right, bad stoners. Only thing they have to get a judge to believe their lies. There in lies the problem....

those rowdy west coast activist stirring up shit again. Seems the biggest voices where from BC. In the same breathe though....the loudest voices have the most to loose. The loudest voices are all making money right now, and are afraid of getting locked out of the industry they figure they are entitled to. Its true for both sides LP and cc. It's suit n tie vs tie die....... Don't fool yourself it's all about money, always has been always will be about $$$. Funny to see the biggest competitors under the same roof. Legal vs illegal. In my book there are no good guys being represented very well right now. Basically greed vs greed right now.

The way I look at it nothing's changing for me regarding my personal consumption, I've managed to stay high for the last 30 years without a prescription or legalization. Never had a dui, never had a car accident, never been arrested, I have been courteous, polite, respectful and smart on where and when I use. Common sense has gotten me this far, I'm just going to keep on keeping on. Although it would be nice not to have a criminal record for simple possession. That's the only goal I want to see.

@Gquebed are you a patient? after several years of using MMJ do you mean to say that one joint impairs you to the point you shouldn't drive? the only time I get "High" is if i bring out the big guns-shatter,oil,hash. smoking a simple joint takes the edge off...not impairing.
i am puzzled by what you're saying as a patient.
rec users shouldn't smoke and drive as they don't have the tolerance. when was the last time you saw a patient giggling after a toke? when was the last time you saw that from rec users. huge difference.

it's your opinion that people smoke and are too wasted/impaired but my opinion is daily users/patients don't get that same "impairing" effect. please don't TELL us how we are...you are lumping everyone in the same group and that isn't the case. i know that you wouldn't be able to tell if i was medicated or not....or several other patients. i can't say the same for rec users

Yes i am a patient. I have my license to posses and grow. But because i moved i was one of those many who fell through the cracks with the injunction...

But i held on to my pinks and continue to grow my own meds.

As for the rest...if thats what you got from all of my posts..well... i dont know what to say... it seems you have misunderstood or i have not been clear enough or both...

Or maybe my posts have been take personally by some and that sting has coulded judgement... i dunno...

What i do know is that a lot of people in the forum carp about the legalization process constantly and in those posts the whining is mostly about change... nothing more.

Legalization is what we all wanted. Now it is on the way and people are still complaining. Wtf??

All that is happening is predictable. It has all happened before with booze.

So my only question now is...what the fuck did you think was going to happen?

If you are a legit patient you dont have anything to worry about...the supreme court made that crystal clear.

Because it is not legal yet... and even so i dont know of anybody that has been jailed for possesion sonce that has been announced. Not even in draconian edmonton ...

Selling and growing is a different matter entirely. Even in edmonton small grows are sliding, but big grows that are obviously growing for the blackmarket are subject to full prosecution as they should be...

These dispensary raids... good... they are opportunists trying to get first mover advantage. Fuck em if they dont want to wait. Especially when the majority of their sales are to young rec users. There are a lot of people waiting to open up a legit operations according to whatever laws are drawn up. Why should those who jump the gun get an unfair advanatge?

I am also against driving while on prescription meds. I knew a woman who dropped so many pills in the morning she didn't know her own face in the mirror...and she would then driver her kids to school. Well I'm allowed to live what little life I have and that includes driving...I am not irresponsible about it at all...I'm in pain all the time - it is the reason I smoke....I also have to stop and move around...I was more of a threat on 1000+mg of morphine than in ever will be in pain and on pot.
