the spectrum could be better, but you can't say the cob spectrum is wrong, cause they grow really really well.Once a company that knows COBs makes one for growing plants that will change, but to my knowledge cree isn't in the grow light biz. The spectrum is just wrong on the current COBs.
The people got it on the ballot here and got it passed but the Republicans in office here hate it and like to keep the jails and prisons full,so marijuana arrests are on the rise, privatization of the prisons, jails and probation systems are making sure of that.Yea its not like that in California. Every single house has an out door grow here. I mean every single house. FLIR with no warrant?
And it's only the beginning. As more states or federal goes legal it's game over for small ops supplying the BM or even supplying legit distributors like licensed dispensaries. In Canada it's looking like they'll be going with large scale ops to supply the rec market next year when they legalize. The medical market will be allowed to grow by August this year (or buy from the large ops). Once they get dialed in on a large scale, it's game over for the BM and small operators. Small scale BM suppliers would be wise to take their current profit and setup something legit/legal within the new laws, go back to school, or setup in another career. The gravy train is about to come to a full stop.Prices are going down because more people are growing now..the penalties are weaker ..less risk equals less reward.
I agree there will be niche markets, at least for a while. But not all BM suppliers grow top shelf, not here anyhow, I'd guesstimate maybe 10% based on anything I've sampled in the last few years. I started indoor to avoid the crap that was available at $2400-3000/lb. Those growers should start looking elsewhere for the easy money. The taxes factor is a good point, depending on how greedy the feds and states/provinces get, that's about the only factor that could extend the BM ops. I've been following the Canadian situation closely and both the provinces and even municipal greed bags are already lining up to get a piece. There will be a transitional period regardless of how it's implemented but like any other market, only the best/strongest/niche markets will survive longer term imo.Totally disagree... Top shelf will ALWAYS move easily... These greedy ass states are taxing so hard that the BM will always live n thrive...I got like 4-5 dudes who been out to Colorado that get stuff off me..everyone of em said my product blows the dispensaries out of the water...and I only consider my self an A minus grower...there are tens of thousands of A plus growers.
That's the truth, I got people that hound me knowing damn well I don't sell. If you got something nobody else can produce than you just cornered the market, quality is everything.Totally disagree... I just think it could be better before I start investing the type monies that my area would need to remove all my HID lights.the spectrum could be better, but you can't say the cob spectrum is wrong, cause they grow really really well.

Nice!3500k cxb spectrum isnt perfect, but its pretty damn good. I could see people rocking hlg240s or Pairui 250w to run 4 cxbs and one or two cutter cob to bump up that deep red range. once they come out.

All due respect, this is not true. If ones sitting on top shelf, then well maybe its not really top shelf like the gardener thought it was. The cannabis market is booming right now.this is not how commodity markets work. if this was true, we would all buy expensive wine and, same day shipped king crab legs, or the highest grade oranges of the year.
..we don't, most of the money is made on mean products, more is better even if its cheaper. there will be a gourmet market for cannabis. if we look to places like Amsterdam the locals don't buy the super high priced stuff, they let the tourist waste their money. they know what they need, they will not over pay to be in the 90%
and as more mean product enters the market, the higher the niche prices go, but unlike wine cannabis has a self life, its not gonna be like people can sit on lbs until you get the price you want.
people are gonna buy something else.
mid-self moves wayyyy more then top or PR's and if that flower is not getting you lifted then, your buying concentrates. which have taken over sales. processes pay the best price for good flower that never sees a jar. you got amazing flower, you best bet is to find a concentrate maker, they will buy at stupid prices. they cant find enough to keep up with demand.
I hate to see beautiful flower destroyed but, its how it is right now. jars are getting mostly rejects.

cannabis is selling at its lowest prices in ten years: just the fact its available, and you get choices. We will never see BM prices again. easy 4klbs gone forever!!!All due respect, this is not true.
