I'm a rod and reel guy too, been wanting to head south for some big blues bc they're really sparse this far north. What state did you fish for em?Name of my boat is white kat.
I have "katfish Charlie" engraved on my catfish rods and reels.
Biggest flat head I caught was a 30 pounder. Biggest blue cat was 48 pounds, channel cat 15 lber. All were caught on rod and reel.
I miss fishing for them.
Pretty much just go to my camp now and bass fish and bream jerk
I used to fish for them when I lived in Indiana but not so much in Florida.. Biggest flathead was 28lb and used to catch channel all day long in the 8-10ld Range..I'm a rod and reel guy too, been wanting to head south for some big blues bc they're really sparse this far north. What state did you fish for em?
