I got one ounce from the untopped one that was a week from finished. I estimate at least two on this one, due to double the amount and the vastly superior density from a finished plant.

Those Are Numbers I Can Get Behind. I've been day dreaming about some frosty as widows but unfortunately I think it's gonna be awhile but I have a feeling my blue mystics will get here next week and they are 7-9weeks vs ww at 8-10. Plus the blues are low odor

At 51 inches a 1000w hps has higher PAR than that crappy mars light. Here's a real chart not some crap one from mars website.

That shows the HPS intensity is higher and has more coverage.....your LED chart shows a center measure of 420 @ 18 inches that HPS shows 815 @ 24 inches....yea that's not even close bro....

The plant can't use all wavelengths of that light. It can only use PAR-spectrum light

The plants can't use all light for photosynthesis but they can use it for photomorphogenic effects.

LEDs are completely arranged within the PAR spectrum

How would you explain 720 nm diodes.

You aren't getting 400w of pure PAR from any HID. They waste a lot of light, heat, and energy.

So do LED's especially shit ones.

Don't use an HPS in a tent, it won't have the headroom to circulate the stagnant, hot, humid air and it's potentially an issue for your plant.

This is inaccurate unless you're talking about a 3-4 foot tall tent. Frankly since you've never used HID in rooms, tents or otherwise it would be wise to stop regurgitating incorrect information.

& they filled with dust & grime , as I only did one run I still treasure my jar of Mars2 LSD bud

That's not even the problem. It's looking at the huge center hotspot and thinking that's how you extract useful knowledge from a PPFD chart, not realizing it's as much a function of lenses and reflectors as the actual light source.

It's exhausting explaining this to somebody who doesn't want to learn either.

I mean it's very simple: 200W of China can't replace 400W of HPS. Anybody who claims it does is lying, anybody who believes it is wrong.



Assuming you mean PAR watts, great. I agree. Let's call it 120 PAR watts, which is 30% efficiency.

Now how many watts does your "450W" light draw? 200W. How efficient does this light need to be to make 120 PAR watts?

I can understand the specs and don't really see how any light led to hps can exactly title for tat because of the varience in light spectrum. I don't know the status game but watts true watts is easy enough to understand. I just see and only care about results. The state game is for serious hobbies nerd types or commercial types. Also, HIDs are noticeably depleting energy as it's being produced from power plants in legal states. Guaranteed, in the future, there's going to be some regulation on efficiency and HIDs will become dinosaurs, especially with the emergence of COBs.

We're already starting to replace HIDs with LEDs for this very reason.
