Interesting hobby ya got there! You do a lot of this kind of patent searching?heres a recent patent using hemp bast fibers, carbonized and used as capacitor electrodes. https://www.google.com/patents/US20140328006

that sounds like the ticket to whats going on in the soil. pores for salts? or the salts are ions and get attracted to the chargse within the pores? probably a bit of both'Mesoporosity', huh? Things that make you go hmmmm...
PH is certainly ionic, and salts are all ions once they're hydrated, right?that sounds like the ticket to whats going on in the soil. pores for salts? or the salts are ions and get attracted to the chargse within the pores? probably a bit of both
no im an electronics student and i found that i can make electrical storage cells using plant matter, NaOH, H2SO4, and some proton exchange membranes. so i memorized the lab procedure and gave it a try. i could never get an intert hydrolysis reaction. i had a crummy vac pump. i was using a plasma arc to get my 600-800C temps and it crystalized the NaOH beautifully. it also put out a monochromatic yellow d-line in the visible light. pretty much made a DIY sodium lamp lol. anyway its cheeper to buy these capacitors premade than it is to make them..Interesting hobby ya got there! i think theyre always ionic and become mobile when they're hydratedPH is certainly ionic, and salts are all ions once they're hydrated, right?
At what point do you add your bone extracts? How do you get them into your soil? How much do you add in?all good lol
but anyway. check the back of a bottle of molasses. its got very miniscule amounts of K. agriculture grade should have more than that but it really isnt much. maybe a 0-0-.25 or so. dont get me wrong i still use it but just not solely. i personally like fermented fruit extracts for my K and bone extracts for P. but thats just how i came to the fight.
bone extracts are found by mixing charred then crushed bones with vinegar. so if you have ribs one night. save the bones in the freezer until you have a kilo of bones.iv used the grill to char and the oven on broil to char, its all the same pretty much but the oven takes longer. At what point do you add your bone extracts? How do you get them into your soil? How much do you add in?
also you can add steamed bone meal into the soil when you mix it. it becomes available to the plant more slowly. so if you mix it in veg, you probably wont see it show up until flower. you can top dress and mix with a hand held fork thingy....(i completely forgot what these things are called) trowel? garden trowel?? is that a thing? At what point do you add your bone extracts? How do you get them into your soil? How much do you add in?
"different light schedules in flower" - meaning ? (different cycles within a day ?)I used to use raw sweet and if your making hash we noticed a slightly more intense terpene profile when using it at the warehouse. Not enough to buy it tho. No sweeteners are needed find good genetics and you'll see that genetics and environment are the 2 most important parts of growing bomb weed
Edit: company I worked for does terpene tests regularly to try and improve the hash. Different light schedules in flower change terpene profile as well
Running 11hrs on 13 off I've heard 10-10:30on and the rest off as well. I know a lot of hash makers and they'll swear by it for making their full melt or live resin. It makes the plant express itself different. @RM3 has experience with light schedule effecting the type of high you get as well from different light cycles during flower. It's crazy man but these plants can express themselves in so many different ways just depending on environment. (Diff lights, temps, humidity, lights schedules all effect how a plant expresses itself as well as uva/uvb lighting)"different light schedules in flower" - meaning ? (different cycles within a day ?)

Edit: the list of environmental variables is massive lol
Pretty sure that gg4 we thought was an s1 is the real thing. It just looked way different under gavita lighting and my partner runs at 69° lights on 59° lights off cuz I'm growing it now and it's the glue I know and love. Gavitas give off UV as well look at the waxing of the leaves @RM3 last pic is from my grow right now.Yeppers genetic expression is the most fun thing about growin
Nice, is Golden Goat or Gorilla Glue ?Pretty sure that gg4 we thought was an s1 is the real thing. Gorilla glue 4. Shes gonna be more than a fad should be in everyone's garden just an amazing strain with amazing potency and I'd love to see you take a crack at herNice, is Golden Goat or Gorilla Glue ?
Have access to both real cuts if it's not
Light schedule changes effects terpenes? Tell us more. I'm interested.I used to use raw sweet and if your making hash we noticed a slightly more intense terpene profile when using it at the warehouse. Not enough to buy it tho. It's all about getting your plant to express itself differently. Lower temperatures and different light schedules effect each plant differently but I've heard from numerous hash makers people who do it for big name companies talk about how they run 10/14 or 11/13 light schedules. Even heard one say in last two weeks drop it 9/15 and they swear by it and I've tried their personal hash from home grows and its insane. It doesn't help yield for bud and i can't remember if it helped with yeild on hash but I do remember them all swearing by different light schedules than 12/12 to get more intense terps. Again it's purely for different expressions of terpenes nothing else as far as I understood lol they are just those like high class snobby hash makers that know they make some insane shit but as far as I could tell the best shit ive ever smoked for hash was some if each of their personal home grown full melt. Each drastically different on flavors they like but all agreed the different light schedules intensify and change terpene contentLight schedule changes effects terpenes? Tell us more. I'm interested.
Thanks - know of one that you change every week 1- and the day-ly cycle includes 2 light times and dark times and each week is a different on-off times. So understand what you are saying.
