whats the price ?
For 1Watt with drivers and cooling ?
Seems pretty good And hanging them closer to plants is a pretty big deal.

Take any of these drivers. Add as many boards as you want. It will divide the wattage among them automatically.

Example

HLG 320H-2800. 3 boards is ~107 watts per board. 4 boards is 80 watts per board. 5 boards would be 64 watts per board. 6 boards would be ~53 watts per board. Do you understand? Kinda like a cob that is ~100 volts. Parallel is easy.

EXAMPLE 2.

HLG 240H-2100

2 boards will be 120 watts per board.
3 boards would be 80 watts per board.
4 boards would be 60 watts per board.
5 boards would be 48 watts per board.

The key is select a driver that has the voltage of one board ~ 100-108 and you can add as many as you like and it will divide the wattage amongst them.
you had me then you said that last line lol.so a mw hlg 240h-2100 is 119v but you said match the voltage of the boards (100v) lol. anyhow you said 80w is the sweet spot so that is what im looking to do and i think i might have 2 x mw 240h-2100 i got from you,not sure lol.but your saying i could run 6 boards off 2 of those drivers right? 3 per driver of course haha.how many lumens from that 480w setup? thinking 8 to 10 in spacing between boards and about 18 in between the 2 sets of boards so like covering a 3 x 5 area maybe?

The voltage would be closer to 108 actually.

Yeah 6 boards at 80 watts each would cover a 3x5 pretty good.

This is with a case temp of 45c. So with good air movement maybe 1-2 lm/w better.

yes 3500k
Thanks for clearing that up gives me a point of reference. We will see. I have never wired parallel etc but these boards interest me for this smaller tent where I do a little bit of everything.
So a light that can be used all around, to slam on clones and seed starts but still use as usual interest me.

@Stephenj37826 It kills me to bring this up, but is this not the same tech that Spectrum King is using in their lights? I tried one of their closet case lights and it was garbage. Just did not produce the quality of plants I am after.

Quantum Boards 3000K 80 CRI
Based on data from Lighting Passport Spectrometer
LER 321.6042035
QER 4.861621995

Based on data from manually digitizing chart
LER 324.3711248
QER 4.839954042

During the Expo Steve and I tested spectrum of 3000K photon lamp with and without glass lens. The glass lens reduced the color temperature by a little less than 50K.

These boards are ideal for low tent height. Will also work great for Trellis Net or flat dense canopy.
I am building on for my herb tent that is only 4ft tall. I don't mind keeping my tomato clones and herbs in 3000K 80CRI. Currently i have 4000K 90 CRI and it does not seems friendly for vegging.

Ok well can I preorder a two board setup for my 20"x36"? I'll be a guinea pig and test one here.

And that's odd on your 4K, because my 5K veg light is killing it.
No need to pre order. They already available. send me an email for invoice.

4000K 90 CRI, seems to flower everything. I had a nice lavender mint and it flowered too much and died. got some dead lavender too.
These Chinese 5 color pepper have flowers too.

Looks like you have some weed growing along with the ladies

For a 20x36" space 2 boards will be good. 2boards and a HLG-120H-C1400. Total 150 watts
Heatsink USA 7.9 is the only option for now. I recommend 30 inches long piece

These are nothing like Spectrum King. These are to bin Samsung 561C. I'm in the COB game as well and I'm here to tell you that these are the brightest Per Watt I've seen.

I know brother I've been drooling over a maximizer for a bit. Just wanted clarification on these new boards is all and I know you're upfront with the info like the sphere testing info that's why I asked. I am pretty sure at some point that question would come up.
