did I say plants breathe exclusively through anything or are u putting words in my mouth. grow up.Botony? Yeah, I can tell you're the expert. Self-proclaimed maybe.
Is this Trump-land? A place where alternative facts thrive? I link an article that says...
"Every part of a plant breathes."
Which clearly contradicts your claim that plants breathe only thru their roots. Your response? You tell me I need to read it again.
Sad
medium in this sense refers to the soil ur growing in. I see ur seed germinated. u removed the plastic? cool beans...ur on ur way...good luck.Medium as in what ? I don't know what that means sorry a bit noobish .. my cflight is 200w it gives around 9k -10k lumens according to the packet
Using miracle grow I know it ain't the best but I wanted to try it and it's the only soil I managed to sprout inmedium in this sense refers to the soil ur growing in. I see ur seed germinated. u removed the plastic? cool beans...ur on ur way...good luck.
Thanks for the advice ..do you think my plant looks healthy? And it's good on its way? I keep getting paranoid that it's wrong or burns or something good because it's my first time you think it looks good?I think MG makes a sterile starter soil, and if you used that you're fine. Anything Miracl-Gro with time-release fertilizers can be dangerous because you have no control over how quickly they're released. I imagine you could slow it down some by keeping the soil on the dry side, but that's not a great solution.
I've never used CFL's. But that won't stop me from making a suggestion! What about turning the CFL sideways so the long side of the bulb is facing the plant instead of the narrow end? You could make a reflector out of a curved piece of white cardboard or whatever you can find. Maybe make the curved shell out of cardboard, then glue or tape a piece of Mylar or even aluminum foil to the cardboard?
I know it's tempting to get in there and flick the shell off, but most guys suggest leaving the little plant alone. Every once in a while the seed hull dries out and puts a death-grip on the new leaves, but that's not typical. The youngster is very fragile, so it's easy to do more damage than good trying to remove the shell.
I've used MG soil and MG powder blue nutes and never really had a problem. Mb the strain you have is sensitive? Anyhow, even if its all you have you can cut it with peat or a cheap bag of store brand soil. Specifically what I used was called Organic Choice...it worked out really well for that grow...I don't use FF or any name brand, I make my own medium with stuff from Home Depot mostly. Cannabis is really sensitive when it germs, its only after growing a decent root system that you can use hotter nutes and even then you need to be careful.Using miracle grow I know it ain't the best but I wanted to try it and it's the only soil I managed to sprout in
I really appreciate that ..good inormation and good help. .I'll efinateky keep you updated and thank you once againI've used MG soil and MG powder blue nutes and never really had a problem. If you want to know exactly what's in my mix just ask Its close enough to what is called "super soil". Soil is my thing and I have studied soil science extensively. Its all I would ever grow in.
Your little seedling looks healthy to me. Keep me updated, I'll walk you through this grow.
BTW I'm growing a new York diesel automatic feminised how much yield ROUGHLY couldn't expect ?I've used MG soil and MG powder blue nutes and never really had a problem. I don't really know because I won't grow autos. Too unpredictable for my taste. I'm gonna guess a couple zips per plant.BTW I'm growing a new York diesel automatic feminised how much yield ROUGHLY couldn't expect ?

Looking good??your sprout is getting its first leaves, that's a good sign. As far as the MG, i personally stay away from it. I like building my own soils. I've been doing gardening for a while, and i've found out that if i make my soils it just works a tad better.
Thanks man .. I've watered it once I'm the morning and then night time the next day and keep that cycle for a while .. I'm gonna put the light a bit distant when the plant grows like 2 days more ..incase it burnsahh the first leaves..very good sign, keep it up your getting there.
So even if the top soil is dark but dry I should wait a few days before watering?watch ur distance for stretch ok, and don't over water, that's always the first mistake most new growers make..k...once you get better you can feel the weight of the bucket and when it needs water...
