me neither!so I can't wait to see what she does in a good 3, 5 or 7 gal
so they're not aboard on the 2g run you're doing next?

nah, the clones I took are already too old for that, this is what happens when I run seeds and interrupt my methodsme neither!

Ah but then you do have them growingnah, the clones I took are already too old for that, this is what happens when I run seeds and interrupt my methods
so they'll probably go into 3 gals, they are in 1 gals already, and have been for about a month
when I run from seeds and do pheno-hunts it screws it all up
but it is what it is, and I am addicted to the thrill of the hunt
good memory!Ah but then you do have them growing
These are crosses of yours with that dark-balled one from a while back?
wasn't quite sure though, and half wrong - but hey, yeah! It could've all fallen into a black hole toogood memory!
some are, the male I crossed with the tranquil elephant, the bluefrost, the pineapple hashplant, and the fruity toot, but for some reason I only got seeds from the tranquil elephant, and pineapplehash
I want to run the rest of my pink lotus to see if I can get another male similar to that one, I've never seen a dark frosty male like that one before
but after seeing the sisters it doesn't surprise me that he was "dark-balled"..
haha
heh, sorta, I don't have anything germinated from the pink lotus dad, those seeds are still un sprouted, the ones I have in 2 gals are the clones that I took from the moms before floweringwasn't quite sure though, and half wrong - but hey, yeah! It could've all fallen into a black hole too
ah ok so the pink lotus growing now are his sisters, and the 2g sog contains his offspring, if I got that right
Anyway, looking forward to see how they do!
hmmmmheh, sorta, I don't have anything germinated from the pink lotus dad, those seeds are still un sprouted, the ones I have in 2 gals are the clones that I took from the moms before flowering
so the pink lotus dad is/was their brother.
a lil complicated
yeah I keep meaning to go out early in the morning with a couple empty soil bags and collect leaves for leaf compost then I'll just add the coffee grounds we collect along with some LAB and brown (and green) leaves from the breadfruit tree in front of house@Vnsmkr ^^^^ compost 21-28 days, in detail method, i think she starts about 15-20 min in with the explanation.... but the whole thing is good stuff
Elaine's recipe, by mass weight as much as possible, 50% high carbon material, 40% Greens/nitrogen, and10% high nitrogen (things with a C:N ratio of 10 carbons to 1 nitrogen)yeah I keep meaning to go out early in the morning with a couple empty soil bags and collect leaves for leaf compost then I'll just add the coffee grounds we collect along with some LAB and brown (and green) leaves from the breadfruit tree in front of house
from what elaine is saying in the many videos i've watched over the last few days, is that the bacteria in the soil basically don't need any help from us once we get them going and keep them fed with amendments (since we don't really have any/much sand/silt/clay in the indoor soil) So we're better to focus on breeding fungi, nematodes, and microarthropods to balance the food chain a lil bit.I found the part about weed suppression fascinating. Creating a more bacterial compost creates more nitrites, which weeds need to be able to germinate, whereas a more fungal dominant compost creates ammonia which vege's prefer. Turns out cannabis really is a weed, cos I'm certain from my research that it prefers nitrites to ammonia too. Maybe this is why EWC works so well with ganja.
good stuff so far, gonna get back to watching the rest of it now
erm I'd contest that logic, at least for my soiland keep them fed with amendments (since we don't really have any/much sand/silt/clay in the indoor soil)
Idk why it makes me cringe to think my weed is a weed LOLI found the part about weed suppression fascinating. the majority of what our biology is consuming from our hand crafted indoor soils is the amendments and compost that we put in right? sure we have some "dirt" (the sand silt clay component) that makes it in there from the turned compost pile, or maybe a grabbed a handful or two and put it in the pot... but, did most of us not stuff it full of neem, kelp, alfalfa, rock dusts, OSF, egg shells, ect. ect. ect.??? native soils outdoors are all made out of 100% parent materials! sand, silt, clay, rocks, pebbles, (and some organic matter!). that's all i was saying i wasn't implying that we don't put "enough" of those things in, but rather we put in other things to replace their function (the amendments).erm I'd contest that logic, at least for my soil
I think it's not that we don't have "enough" sand/silt/clay---
How many microns of whatever will the plant really need? How many billions of years till we use it all up? So how long will a handful that "somehow" got into my - lets assume we're pretty much growing in pure leaf mold like Grease - last?
thats crazy mo. im definitely not surprised though. amazing how long it takes for dumb mistakes to to be erased off of this planet isn't it???Here in Orange County they are still finding traces of DDT in the farm ditches.
a quick google search showed the half life of DDT is around 15 years or so.... it says 2-15.... but we all know its 15 lolDDT is forever!
