I don't get it. Year after year, more states vote in Republican leadership and representatives. You say it's because Democrats are not explaining things properly.

Oh and Paddy cites polls that should indicate Democrats winning those elections. We aren't.

Maybe people are voting in Republicans because they are more conservative than Democratic leaders are.
I believe it's because Democrats have accepted the Republican playbook and offer no clear alternative.

I propose selling a winning political ideology to Americans. Something that both conservatives and progressives can agree with. As I've shown, they want the same things. Universal healthcare, Universal college, etc. Strengthening unions and workers rights.

I think so many states are behind the GOP because the Democratic party hasn't given the voters in those states an applicable alternative to institutional corruption. When both parties are seen as corrupt in the eye of the average American, the one seen as less corrupt will inevitably win.. Which is ironic considering the one considered less corrupt was a billionaire straight from the oligarchy... That's how far we had to fall to beat Hillary Clinton.. - that fact alone should tell you something if you've been paying attention.. -

I think so many states are behind the GOP because people see the Democratic establishment for what it is; corruption. They saw how they conducted the Democratic primary, and as much as the establishment want's to deny it, the corruption was obvious. Now they're the loudest voices for unity (ROFL!).

Perez and DWS and Brazil and the entire leadership of the DNC can rightly unify right underneath deez nutz. They lose an entire generation of progressives. Good fucking luck winning another election.
THIS!

Stop selling party politics and start talking about real substantive policy.

Personally, I propose starting with outlawing campaign finance.

but the stuff about clinton was 99% bullshit.

and what we're finding out about trump is seventy four times worse than we thought in october last year.

my question is not so much a disagreement with you, but more of a "how can they be so stupid?".

i mean, i saw all these trump conflicts of interest and foreign collusions and constitutional crises while you were still asking about why she was coughing.
The Chump is in office right now because a lot of people saw Mrs Clinton as the embodiment of a Democratic establishment that didn't represent their needs, and a blatantly corrupt nomination process that stripped the party of any credibility to call itself representative of the People.

yes i watched it it smacks of woo woo. havent got time to go through numbers yet but i'll be back later
Admittedly it doesn't output a constant 2000w with the panels he has there, but by using the super-caps you can put out 2000w once they're charged.

It's more an exercise about scalability though, 5 of those panel arrays would output a constant 2000w and as you saw they fold up to practically nothing, trunk of the car would easily take them.

On a cloudy day we're probably talking 80 - 90% efficiency, but with the super cap bank as a buffer you have a net loss over time but you'd have 2000w output from practically nothing for an extended period.

Then you don't deserve to represent the American people. If you can't assume the position of "NO MOTHERFUCKING CORRUPTION" as a "one size fits all", then you can rightly "GO FUCK YOURSELF!" - loud and clear?
I second this!

The Republican party can continue to be the party of institutional corruption.

If Democrats can clean up their act and show themselves to be a clearly distinct option, I believe they'll be the dominant force in politics until the 'pubs change their tune.

I realize my district is very liberal, but I'm willing to bet that fewer of my liberal district mates votes voted in the general than showed up for the caucus. I think they stayed home because they felt they were disrespected by the DNC.

Maybe Bernie should have run as an independent, from the perspective of hindsight.

fuck it i have 5 mins

there was a 400w solar panel. lets just throw out the laws of thermal dynamics and assume 100% efficiancy throughout the whole system

a 400w panel array will produce 0.4kw in an hour.. say the same as running a 400w hps for an hour

he said the bank is fully charged in a few mins (lets say 3mins)

3 mins is 1/20th of an hour

0.4kwh / 20 = 0.02kwh

you want to put out 2kw (2000w) from 0.02kwh

you'll get what 36 seconds of 2000w and the system is completly empty

lithium batteries just one or two of them can piss all over this array...

i'll deal with the rest later

Your meltdown is fun.
Nice try on misusing the word carer and/or misspelling career, then trying to cover it up. But I will certainly give you points for effort.

Your district leans toward progressive politics. Mine, through the magic of gerrymandering barely is so. We have a large group of rural voters who are conservative. They want the federal government out of their lives. Regulations, they claim are killing their way of life and it's not completely false to say so. It is Wyden's job to represent all of his constituents, including the ones who didn't vote for him. He entreated people at a rally held recently to listen and talk to our neighbors about the issues without personalizing and especially without dismissing their complaints as ignorant. I'm trying to do that. As Wyden points out, a small shift in the vote would have put an (my words) obnoxious Republican in control of representing my district. In my district the issue isn't Democrats are same as Republican. Quite the opposite.

What I don't understand is why my rural neighbors would vote against the very same food stamp programs their kids depend upon. The thought experiment that I'm posing here is that my rural neighbors despise food stamps and want the kind of life they remember or their parents told them about when growing up. Back then, logging and log mills were a large part of the economy. Also, strawberries that were grown and processed in nearby processing plants were an important cash crop. This has gone by the wayside. In the face of this, they don't see liberal initiatives like universal healthcare, regulating Wall Street, clean water act as relevant. What does that have to do with the lack of jobs in their area?

This kerfluffle started when I said it was OK with me for a Blue Dog Democrat to vote for Rick Perry. In key areas like passage of an amendment to overturn the Citizen's United ruling, those same conservative Democrats voted with Sanders and others. They will oppose other causes important to their districts like regulations on farmers to protect waters from ag runoff pollution. Recall that most people are happy with their own congressmen. I may not agree with them on all issues but I agree that the people of their district have the right to vote for them. And they sure as hell are better than the Republicans they defeated.

Nope. Said charged in 5 mins....enough to run the saw a little. Not fully charged. Showed the charge on the controller after 5 mins.
and???

you think that changes it significantly?

lets not forget we completly threw out any idea of efficiancy loss

this with its battery would piss all over that capacitor array

and you could still charge it with those panels...

as i said i have 5 mins...

rushed and shit

got any substance?
I'm not sure what your little bit of arithmetic was supposed to prove. Are you a saying that solar is an unimportant source of energy? That's clearly wrong and so I'm pretty sure you aren't saying that. But just like your spelling and mis-use of terms, your writing is muddled. Or are you saying that a 400 W panel can't support the needs of a city? I mean, duh.

I mistook a metamorphic rock for an igneous rock. Because of that, we don't have flying cars.

I was merely helping you on your journey, ever improving your use of the English language and you've done nothing but respond with snide whining.

Most people consider that melting down.
