This. Solar panels are bringing power to the people in underdeveloped nations worldwide, no big power plants or transmission grids required.

Ok they don't power heavy industry but for charging cell phones and LED lights for home use they're great.

Even televisions are using less power these days, so solar and wind are viable sources for that too.

Batteries are coming down in price.

The right wing has their facts wrong about who pollutes the most and how the power generation picture is already changing.

Of course this isn't a surprise, because the right wing is driven by donor money. The donors don't want the Paris Climate Accord because they want to keep making power from dirty sources, global warming be damned.

Again, it shocks me how many people can be so firmly entrenched in supporting policies that either don't benefit them or even harm then directly.

leds and cell phones for all the third world....but no industry, hospitals, middle class or clean water.

but under the climate change tax, big polluters aren't the ones paying for their cheap and dirty energy, tax payers are. Look beyond the obvious to see the insidious

The Demon is cool, for sure. So was the Daytona Superbird. Neither one could be reasonably considered to be a daily driver. They're toys.
