I know. They're opposite directions. There is no moderate right left.

Well, that and the fact that not being batshit extreme does not make you a moderate. There are no remaining right wing moderates. Some are merely less batshit extreme than others.I know. They're opposite directions.
it's even better- Trump has YET to declare the county in which Houston is a part of, a disaster county so insured can start making claims..And it's not over yet. Presently, models are showing yet another tropical storm hitting the same exact area dropping another 15 to 20 inches of rain in 6 days.
Wonder if the mayor is going to sit on his ass and tell everybody to sit put for that one too?
Quite possibly. People who called themselves moderate conservatives helped stop Trumpcare. There is no moderate right left.
People are reporting they're calling their insurance company's and can't file claims because it has not been, whatever declaration is required to start the process.Trump has no control over that. FEMA does. The entire area, including Houston, were declared disaster areas two days ago.
If FEMA had failed to act, Trump could have declared it with an executive order, but it's not necessary since it was done long before he ever showed up.
Of course she's a trophy wife, Porker.Lies, how in the hell do you know, are you two good friends of Melania? That why this country is so messed up fucking lies!
if you don't have flood insurance rider on homeowner's, you are pretty much f'd.People are reporting they're calling their insurance company's and can't file claims because it has not been, whatever declaration is required to start the process.
Hat's are still in the lobby, folks.
Nostradamus said the anti christ will be wear a notable hat and that's how we will recognize him.
They're lying. They're probably getting denied because they're filing claims on their home owners insurance and they are being told they're not covered for flood damage.People are reporting they're calling their insurance company's and can't file claims because it has not been, whatever declaration is required to start the process.

Eighteen Texas counties have received the federal disaster declaration needed to widen financial help and secure the aid of the Federal Emergency Management Agency in recovering from Tropical Storm Harvey, Governor Greg Abbott said on Monday.
The list includes Houston and other areas battered by Tropical Storm Harvey, such as Nueces and Aransas counties. People in those counties can start registering online and calling their insurance companies for assistance.
there is alot of people down here, that don't have insurance at all, those are the people who are really screwed. And supposedly here in texas there is a new law about insurance companies, so alot of people are being told to file before friday, cause the 1st is when the new law goes into effect.......if you don't have flood insurance rider on homeowner's, you are pretty much f'd.

This is the list of Republicans who refused to vote for a bill that would cause 10's of millions to lose health care coverage. I guess the bar for being a called a moderate in the Republican caucus is set at the level of "not completely a sociopath".

Flood insurance is expensive. It's not required if you aren't in a Federally designated flood area. Therefore, most people not in one don't buy it. Not that they could afford it in the first place...yeah, i saw something the other day about what % of residents don't have any.
probably the same people that didn't buy ACA and took the penalty because they weren't sick at the time.
and none have because there is no flood zone platted for that area.if you don't have flood insurance rider on homeowner's, you are pretty much f'd.
I'm looking at this rally he's got going and only TWO red hats in the audience. conspicuously missing is the Trump gear and shouts of 'lock her up' and various chants they are known for.Flood insurance is expensive.
