Killer setup!Added qb120s to our 2 fixtures setup.
First is running 3 vero29 gen7 on 2.1a driver at 3500k, added 4 QB 120s that are running on 2.1a at 3000k, for a total of ~425watt at full capacity.
the second fixture with 5 vero29 gen7 COBs running at 1.75 (typically dimmed to 80%) at 3500k got an upgrade of 4 QB 120s running on 2.1a at 3000k, for a total of ~515 watt at full capacity.
each fixture is installed on an 80x80cm tent.
both were inspired from the tons of info on this forum.

This is the array *except* I traded the 5000ks on the corners for the 3000 and 3500 in the middle of the Center fixtures.

Now, I’m thinking I should take out 3cobs and run the boards at 60w each for 240w from the 4 boards and 6 cobs at 260w. I just can’t decide and don’t really want to remove lights
Boards are 3500k 80cri and cobs are 3000k 90cri

Thanks very much iv now put the boards on 183w which is max from the drain vet and turned the cobs down abit, and I did have them off but as soon as I added them and raised the light to suit I seem to get better growth, and means I don’t have to have the light right down on top of them.Great setup mate. Have you considered removing the Angelina reflector from the COBs? With a mixed setup such as yours in a closed tent, I would imagine that might be helpful.

I have a lux meter but with the 3k cobs and 3500k boards if they match I either need to run the boards at 20w or the cobs at 160 per 3, the 3k is nowhere near as bright as more red. I would use that if they were all the same spectrum@astonehead

If your drivers are dimmable, I would leave it that way. For your 4x4' tent 500-600w will be very good and will bring you excellent results.
But like @dannykay said, I would take off the Angelinas. Could help to avoid light stress.
Also pay attention to good temperature (25-28°C) and sufficient air movement inside the chamber.
Water consumption should not be lower than with HPS.
BTW,
With a simple lux-meter (e3by, $10) you could easily set COB's and boards so that you have the same brightness across the entire surface. I would set the boards to ~80% and then turn up the outer COB rows until it you get the same brightness at the sides and the corners. If you have found the right setting for even illumination, remember the potentiometer positions(maybe you mark them). From then on it is easy to decrease/increase the intensity evenly.
