CM171114-180511001.jpg Hey guys feel free to chime in any time. My goal is a perpetual harvest around 4 plants a month not quite there yet but close! I'm growing in living organic soil been re using my soil the last two years, it's only getting better. I'm starting to try my hand at cloning and gunna start keeping mothers to pull from. Over the last month I made my first successful clones and plan to have many more in the upcoming months. I feed my girls with sst/ acct around every two weeks. I also use a living cover crop. For my mother's I will be using 10g smart pots in a no til los. And for the clones their ending pots will be 5g smart pots with re amended organic soil. (Same soil just not no til)
My goal once the mothers are strong is to take 4-8 clones a month.(using the strongest 4) Under one 4ft 8 bulb t5. that t5 I will have (stage 1) with fresh clones and next to it (stage 2) vegging clones(2 months total at these stations). Then in my flower tent I have a 5x5 with a 1k hps 8in carbon scrubber and cool tube. I plan to have between 8-12 ladies flowering at 3 stages in sections of 4. My goal is between 4-8 Oz a month. Harvesting once a month and clipping clones once a month. Total life span should be around 5 months give or take haven't experimented with this yet but we can learn together lol

CM171102-204751002.jpg Here is my soil mix I also have bokashi added in about 1 cup per ft. Cooked for about a month in a half. I know it's alot but some ingredients haven't been added in a while like dolomite lime but it's still there from a year ago lol!

Update on the ladies they are doing great I mixed up the mothers 10g no till pots and started growing in some cover crop. I'm using a mix of clover, barley and buckwheat. I plan to transplant then into the 10gs in 2 to 3 weeks. I'd like to start taking my first clone on new years! I'm also making a sst to feed made of barley and corn!

Interesting to see other green bits growing in the pot alongside the plants, havent seen that before, what are the advantages? The cookie plant you cloned looks bad ass, how many weeks of flower did it take. There is some cuts of scout cookies round my way.

The gorilla cookies is a cross of gg#4 and cookie wreck takes about 8 weeks to flowe. As for the living cover crop(companion crop) there are nitrogen fixing plants meaning they pull nitrogen out the air and put it into the soil also many other benifits as well. This is my first run trying it out! But I think it's gunna only be used in the no til pots kinda a pain for my re amended organic pots!

OK today I'm starting my first of many cycles with the clones! I was worried that the donor was still a Lil young so I only took four bottom branches off of one plant rather than a few off each. This way I can start filling up the tent faster.
The strained that I cloned was Nevils haze, I made four cuts using aloe and water(soak) and clone x gel and rapid rooters. With a clone dome 1512104305258-1255278858.jpg 1512104337399752223855.jpg 1512104382416-2136512389.jpg 15121044191651321128515.jpg

The sprouts growing in the same pot, I've never seen that either and I wonder - might they compete with the root space of your plant?

That's a very good question, I unfortunately can't answer that with a facts. I'll let you know how it goes, but I'm pretty sure it won't hurt anything and they are pretty big pots and tons of room. Hopefully someone else can chime in on this part!

The sprouts probably don't have a strong, or deep enough root system to interfere but it came to mind when I saw your pictures. The sprouts will also get first drink of any nutrients you add to the top of the pot, though again I am not sure their root system will be big enough to take a noticeable amount away, as your water and nutrients filter down the pot through these roots.

I do like experimentation, so it's interesting

Well, I'm subscribed now so I suppose we'll all find out!

everyone i see do no tills always have things growing in theirs and they come out fiiire
My 10g mothers will be no till but the 3gs that clones go into will be re amended every cycle! That's y I choose to not continue to use living cover crop for those.

The good thing is, even if you did notice something you don't like, you can simply cut off a limb and grow it into a new mother.

OK today's update, clones are doing OK first 24 hrs so not much to tell. I also bought my 3g pots for the first cycle. And they didn't have a barley straw mulch so I bought some rice hulls to try out as a mulch rather then my living cover crop like my no till pots!

OK another update I have cloned the first round of Nevils haze, they have rooted and been potted today. Today I also clipped my first clone from the gorilla cookies. Need more plugs so I can do the blue cheese. 1512948772013-1660091867.jpg
