They aren't exactly protests, more of a rebuke of the present administration's healthcare policies and to show support for my representatives who opposed Republican policies and legislation. One was to counter demonstrate against neo-Nazis. So far it all feels like a prelude. Shits going to get real if Republicans get us into a war.

it's not so much that he is retiring, it is more accurate to say he is becoming a witness for the prosecution.
Not to mention intimidating a witness by threatening his pension is also obstruction of justice.
