Hunting is the primary use of hand guns? Come on man. People own hand guns because they are afraid and feel the gun gives them a sense of protection even though the gun makes them less safe. I don't have a problem with hunting, it's just not the reason most people own a gun, especially a hand gun.

In a Dec. 28 national report, USF&W said 13.7 million individuals over age 16 self-identified as hunters, and that 12.7 million used guns (shotguns, rifles or handguns) while hunting.

From conversations I've had with gun owners, they are just fearful and want the gun so they can feel safe. Race only comes into the equation when the scairdy cat's racist tendencies come into play. Like I said, it usually kills white males because most gun owners are white and suicide by gun is the most common way men off themselves.
