Well it has been a few days since I have given any updates. I have a lot of work ahead of me this weekend. Planning on finishing up my veg room and relocating those t5s to the veg area and setting up all 4 HIDS in the flowering room. Also some other ins and outs that's gotta be installed and tweaked up a bit as well. My lazy bug has got to go, its killing my productivity...

Anyway here is the most recent photo of the girls. This was taken about 3 hours ago. They are looking so much better and I am so thankful for that! I still plan to flush with 1/2 strength nutes and plan on doing that likely tonight as well...

As you can see, they continue to get greener.

Here are the GPS seedlings, loving life and chillin with the elites... I have more seedling on the other sideline of the girls but I didn't get any photos of those.

I will show pictures soon of the Kentucky skunk when I get to my computer .
There is a chart called a psycometric chart , created by Mr carrier.
Actually genius as hell figuring there were no computers when it was invented.
Amazingly smart man.
Rh should be between 40 and 50 percent for your room.
If the Rh is to low your buds will not develop well. They will get huge resin though at low Rh. If above 50 you will invite mold and bud rot intl your room,
A little lower humidity helps keeps mites at Bay too.
70 percent humidity is ok for veg.
Air expands and contracts with heat.
Warmer air can hold more moisture.
If you change your room temps from dark to light cycles you will notice that when the temperature drops your floor and plants will get wet from the temperature drop until it hits a dew point when the air gives up it's moisture.

Garden lime pH ballances the soil, adds calcium also.
If you put garden lime , add it to the soil, top dress or mix in water and pour it into the plants you will NEVER have a pH problem .many nutrient systems drive PH down in soil and other growing mediums.
Garden lime stops all of that so if you have any problems it makes it much easier to pinpoint where the problem is coming from.
It's around 5 bucks for a 40 to 50 lb bag at Lowe's or mennards , home Depot and only takes a cup in a 4 cusqft of spoil. It will last like forever for most growers

Man that would be great! Those photos... I would love to see if it is the same exact skunk we have here in my region of the state. Make sure and throw those up for sure!

Yeah during flower I always keel my humidity rather low. Anywhere from 30 to 40% and then in the last week I actually drop it on down to 10% for maximum resin output.

I have been running a 24 hour veg period this entire time. I have thought about maybe switching to a 18/6 and hell, it would save a little pocket change as well. Lol.

I buy 50 pound bags from the local farm store of granulated dolomite lime for around $12 a bag. I have always amended my medium with it, you are correct it does have a great source of cal-mag in the mix.

I used about a tablespoon and a half per gallon of promix.

Yes they look alot better.
You are right though.
We know it's not the pH , we can also be pretty sure it's not a calcium problem.
I think he is on to something with some sort of gas.
I seen methane do this. Drove me nuts for a min too.
How I finally found where it was coming from I moved the co2 monitor near where the source of methane was coming from and it gave a co2 reading that was off the charts.
Even a crack in the sewer pipe under the concrete might let it seep through the concrete .highly unlikely though but just a thought.
As long as we know what it's not then we can narrow it down some to what it might be.

If you could draw huge amounts of outside air changeover into the area it would disepate and gas in the area and see if they straighten up.
They will react fast to changes in the environment . You would know pretty fast if that is what it could be.
They do look alot like the plants I had that were having the methane problem . Or change location of one of the plants and see how it reacts

Ive been lurking on your shit bro. Them girls are looking so much better. I look forward to seeing them bud. Good job
Hey buddy! Thank you for stopping by and finally dropping note you have been watching my thread... I could have sworn I felt someone watching, hiding behind the corner... Haha...

Yeah I look forward to them finally getting to where I want them so I can flip, seems like it is taking then ages to get em there though. I truly believe that once they get established in this new medium they are in and once the roots start building a good mass that I will see them explode. Hopefully after the next feeding/watering.

Thanks for the great info man. I decided against a flush as well... They have not dried up enough yet imo to get another feeding or watering yet, let alone a heavy flushing/leeching.

I honestly think that since I transplanted they are just taking time to get the root ball established and formed. Once this happens, I will feed with half strength nutes and added epsom salts. I believe then is when I am going to see the explosion in growth that I have been looking for... Also, I am going to make sure they get at least 20% runoff this time. Since they have been in veg they have never had a feeding that gave off any runoff yet. I know that causes salt build up, but now they are in new soil and containers for the last 7 or 8 days.

I did not water to runoff during transplant either because I had moistened the soil evenly before I potted up the plants. Then just watered along the sides of the bags to make the roots reach out further to grab those nutrients.

Promix website has lots of great info if you haven't checked it out yet. They say runoff every watering is recommended, I'm sure first couple waterings don't matter though. They also say water pH has no affect on the medium, its the alkalinity that will fuck you up if its too high. Seriously check it out though, some great reading.

there she is ,,,my Kentucky skunk, she was a medium producer at around 2.5 lbs per 600 watt lamp,
the colas actually got a little bigger on AN but were better and cheaper to grow with botanicare pro organic

Damn son... Nice nice nice! That is very beautiful and looks a lot like the current "same old school RKS" that has been around Ky for so long.

I wish you still had it bud. You have a nice grow op there as well. Thanks for throwing those up man, I am hoping to release some Kentucky Road Kill one day.

@dubekoms Thank you for that helpful information. I actually follow the promix facebook page, but I don't get on facebook much and have only visited their website only in search of the listed ingredients in all of their mixes. Will check that out for sure!

She was a leafy bitch and did not like to form long colas but damn the weed was soooo good . Let me be your first customer when you get some seeds.
As long as she has been around Kentucky the seeds should be pretty much stabilized on there own.
Thanks for the complement.

Well here are the girls... Been a minute since the last update. These photos were taken yesterday morning and the night before I blasted them with a foiliar feeding that I mixed good and strong with Epsom and EJ Sea Blast. They loved the stronger spray more so than the weaker ones I had been applying previously..

They grew a solid 3 inches overnight after I sprayed them. Still have not watered and found my old water meter and it too shows they are nearing the red area due for a watering soon. I might get the driest ones tonight.

Here are a few photos. The super droppings I did are really taking hold now and once these girls kick into high gear after their next feeding is when I expect that explosion.

Now in the pics I am posting last are some things I have been noticing. Twisting of leaves (even though the nutrient deficiency seems to have vanished) and a couple of plants are having what seems to be sort of slow, stunted new growth. The budlets are much smaller than the rest of the plants on a couple ones, same strains as well. Almost resembling late over watering issues how they stunt and stall. Also their are a few leaves here and their that the edges are turned upwards. The only thing I have ever seen in the past that resembled this was a not as mite issue I had in the past.

Tonight I am going to give them some aspirin in the water to kinda boost their immune system a bit more and elevate their SAR system.

I am also gonna spray them with a soybean oil based miticide/fungicide and open up two hot shot no pest strips for further extermination just in case I do have a BM issue. I have looked every night with my scope on 60 and even 100x and have not seen any eggs or mites at all.

Now it is possible these twisting leaves could have a correlation with the super cropping still in slight recovery. I have noticed the super cropped branches look much less healthy than the non super cropped ones, but once they recover they are absolutely fine.

Here are the newest photos and also plan to get more tonight as well
Have not been out to check them today, yet.

You can see that last stronger foiliar feeding brought them to a beautiful lush color and they finally look what do consider "kosher"...

The new canopy... Lookin' awesome!

Notice the bottom, lower leaf edges curling up.

Screenshot_2018-01-29-16-04-09.png

Notice the leaf curl or "twist"? I have a few plants exhibiting these two issues. Nothing too alarming yet but if it has progressed today during inspection I will update.
