How to reduce death from homicides:

Go into cities like Chicago, Cleveland, LA, etc. and spend money on communities that are falling behind. Education, jobs, etc.

That's where a majority of your homicides are coming from.
There's no money for it though, those cities have taken the path of socialism and you can see the results look at the homeless and decay the shit on the streets it's like a fucken natural disaster

Idk, you tell me what I meant. You seem to do that a lot.
I'm not a mind reader. But thanks for the vote of confidence. I'm just asking what you meant when you said you were in support of stepping up gun laws and regulations.

Did you change your mind and now aren't supporting them?

Go back a few posts, it's all there.

I'd get behind something like this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_Canada

or this:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gun_laws_in_Australia

Because they get this:

Careful that's from 2008 you don't wanna insult your boy Obama Also where's tbe source from it doesn't take population into account I mean I have a cool little bar graph that shows the direct correlation between global warming and the reduction of pirates in the world...

Don't really care either way tbh. I'll have no problem passing a background check for the 10th time. Actually need to go renew my permit to purchase tomorrow, thanks for reminding me sunshine

It hasn't changed much since then. Right wingers in Congress blocked any improvements in gun regulations. The NRA needs to protect it's manufacturing partners.

You want recent stats? You can look them up.

Did you know that Australia and Canada have only a fraction of gun related deaths due to homicides or accidents compared to the US? Gun laws work.

Tell me, if more guns make people safer, how come we aren't much safer than Australia or Canada when it comes even to gun accidents in the home? Not to mention that the US has five times more gun homicides than Canada does. Yet we have probably several hundred million more guns in this country.

Fancy that.

You sure like Canada and Australia. You may still want to consider moving to one of them. Canada seems like a good fit for you, eh?

Oh, so you oppose gun regulations. got it.

did you know that gun regulations work? There are plenty of countries that have stiffer gun regulations than the US. People can still own guns but they are regulated more heavily than here. They have nothing like what's going on in the US.

I don't see why we shouldn't have the same level of gun safety those countries have. Can you tell me why non gun owners shouldn't pass restrictive gun laws over your objections? You do realize that gun owners are only 35% of the population, don't you? That's not a very strong position to argue from.

Obama had control of all 3 houses and he did shit. Liberals, They do not wanna solve the problem they love the issue too much. If Trump actually gets Bumb stocks put in the machine gun category he will have done more for gun control then the last 3 presidents combined...

Really where'd you pull that from? Because there is over 310 million guns that are just registered forget the pre registration ones before 1890.

If I was a teacher and carried, I'd sure as hell want some kind of hold harmless assurances for a blue on blue incident.

Obama isn't president any more.

Trump is president and he's recommending running into mass shootings unarmed.

You do realize that only 35% of households in this country own guns. Until now, the 65% of non gun-owning households gave the issue benign neglect. That is changing. You can keep objecting but I, like many other non-gun owners look at Canada and Australia and ask: Why can't the US have the same freedom from gun violence that they have? There is no good reason. They and many other first world countries have more restrictive gun ownership laws. It's just a matter of time before we see something like that here.

Gun owners can either join us or get run over. I realize that the Republican congress is in the way. So, we'll just make this an issue in the upcoming elections. One or two major losses in the polls will correct that problem. Politicians do so hate to lose.

Gun owners are so ignorant. OTOH, it's actually 30%, not 35%. Your position is weaker than I originally said.

I don't want to pay for the extra security required to turn schools into high security zones. I'd be ok if we taxed the shit out of guns, bullets and gun licensing fees to pay for it but as a non gun owner I'm not interested in paying one extra dime to make it so the gun industry can profit from pumping yet more guns into this country. I am completely for putting more money into education but security because gun owners have no sense gets nothing.

That's what I thought way to skew the numbers and try to make them sound better than they are that tstudy states that only 33% are Anti gun.
