How deep do your LED's penetrate?

Sorry, look into leds... Ifor you don't know by now they are high performers you need to go back to the 1950s where you came from because there are absolutely led journals on here where the plnts look every bit as big and sticky and colorful if not more so than any hid I have seen. My father says the same thing to me and he has been doing it the same way damn near 40 years besides there are better hid than there were at first. That as side I just grew over a pound of led bud that oops any of his I have had and is far more resinous. I also have a Bubba Kush that seems to be a saliva pheno that is near as big as the one in your picture you claim to have never seen an led bud like that. It still has a week or two left to flower and will possibly be bigger than yours.
I grew a 4 Oz plant with cfls 8 years ago when I was told they wouldn't make tight budget too. Most say they refuse to believe, I don't give a shit! Maybe I will put up a Bubba pic when done. I don't even have the good leds, I built a couple cheap cobs and some mars pannels. If I had some luminus cxm22 or something my yield probably would a been + %20.
Don't talk crappie about something you must have little to no experience with, led have moved ahead hounds in the last 6 or 8 years. I sup pose my 80s battery powere doing chainsaw with brushless motor and 18 inch bar won't cut a tree or log because it is BATTERY POWERED... old school meets new is all.
Stop fighting and agree both are good and personal preference is all the difference is.

No one has any problems with leds as a good grow light, the problem comes from the led growers who endlessly barble on about how they are the best/hps is shit etc etc etc till you just feel like yawning and telling them to shut the fuck up.

Sheesh its like you all got somthing to prove and get easily hurt in defiance from hps growers that grow plenty more per area and depth.....

Why don't led guys post these 1 pound with 315w bruple leds? Or the pics of these 3 gpw grows. I know one cat told me he pulled a pound from I believe he said 315 "actually watts" when I posted the huge colas I got off a 600w hps. Like I said, I posted pictures but didn't see no pics fo 1 pound from 315wastt of shitty led. Plus my shit was frosted out and huge, he shit didn't exist, lol.

Edit: post pics more often. I've seen some good grows but veg time is always long it seems.

Haha..., I had a few leds off also, but the bigger 3 in there are in half the space. But there should be at least 7 or 8 Oz in there left when finished. I know I know the blur please leds, so imagine if I had some good cobs in there. I only have 2 cheap Chinese ones in the middle I built but am gonna do 6 or 8 cobs in there to rock only when flowerring.
I only have about 500 watt total in there and 200w of that is not even on what is in the big half.
So to each his own.

Pictures alone could have provided more proof than this whole original post. Any body can say anything on the internet. Pictures are the only way your going to convince anybody otherwise

On paper the best hps dont seem far off leds specs, ppfd is more a lab and field scale set point not somthing that factors in the emerson effect and that of the other lesser colours of light upon growth. One may reference futher studies about green light being off very high value to photosynthesis.

The light spread of hps is much more even and with this the entire spectrum, another down point to multiple light sources that need to overlap every 3cm and dont all produce the same spectrum evenly. Led manufacturers are seeking to solve this which shows the original problem exists.

Hps dosent drop to near zero a few inches to the side of the light meaning more light reflected to the side of the tent hitting 98% reflective mylar and bouncing down to lower leaves.

All the problems with led and years off development are what makes hps superior in many ways both growth and spectrum. What leds loose to actual biology not just maths hps already dominates in. Leds get more impressive at lower voltages but at 200lumens and not much more in umols for the better lights its not a great deal on hps minus the fact that hps dosent base all its chips on just ppfd alone.

I say hps is the much better at penetration, bud density and overall just being generally ace at growing weed.

Led growers wont explain the inherent problems there diodes face but they will persistently repeat ppfd like its some grow mantra. I see afew others writing the same so bite me....

Nice plants bud hps or led they still look good ... If u notice he never posts any pics of his plants they probably ain’t ass nice looking as yours
