Why are there so many Trump supporters on RIU?

I hope your mother gets raped by a pack of wild dogs & you find out you have cancer an hour later. FUCK YOU & FUCK THIS FORUM!
I'm out.

Well, I'm happy to oblige you! Come back when you can't stay so long.

The rest of you, please stop with calling people motherfuckers, cunts, and assholes. That does not help, and I just have to delete it. I left several of those posts here to make a point. Just because one guy does it, and you can be sure that I will delete it, does not mean that you have to quote it and reply in kind.

Ok, I'll admit to that crime, but sometimes I go back to my primitive, pre-adolescent stages, too address the inane comments made by some members.
I'll make an effort in the future to restrain from such vulgarities.
(but it worked this time, didn't it)
Adios, motherfucking FreeRide1974 (last time, I promise :) )

Anyway back to the Nazi torch lit parade, I felt sick watching a bunch of low IQ crackers emulating Nazis, for fucks sake is the 1A that important that you can tolerate this?
In the 1950's, some American Nazis won their case in the Supreme court saying that their right to march, however repugnant, was protected under the 1A.

In Portland, a fascist who was harassing some black girls killed two people who stepped in between him and them. A few days later fascists showed up to demonstrate and march in the streets of Portland. There were 2000 counter-demonstrators to 600 fascists, most of whom looked like the belonged in a nursing home but some came ready for a fight until they saw our numbers. We shouted them down, they stayed behind police lines. Eventually they left, leaving whiny complaints with the press. In Charlottesville, the fascists conspired online to defeat police lines and mayhem ensued. There was a mass of smart phones to record what happened and a few of those fascists are going to do time. Charlottesville has since replaced it's chief of police because he pulled cops off the streets at a critical time. A few weeks later, 50,000 counter demonstrators showed up in Boston to oppose a fascist rally and the fascists didn't even show up.

We'll break them eventually. Agree that it was intellectually lazy for that court to rule the way it did. Still, we've had moments in history where the 1A protected our democracy including these days. I wouldn't want the current government to get its hands on the ability to rewrite it.

Point noted but why would anyone who is pro-cannabis vote against their own self interest by voting for Trump? He's lined his cabinet with the most anti marijuana people imaginable starting with Sessions. Please don't tell me Trump is for medical, he only brought that up during the campaign because the polls are heavily in support left AND right. He's also entirely for civil asset forfeiture in the strongest way possible. Republicans fight legalization in every way, Dem's are progressing the issue. Gimme a break!
Simple. Some want it to stay illegal to make more off it. How much is pot in a legal state vs an illegal one?

It's a shitty reason but I'm sure part of it.

Freedom of speech is one thing, but to incite chaos and mayhem, and to insist that anyone that is not a White Protestant is sub-human, is another matter all together
We should have taken the lead from Germany, the home of the original Nazi, where if you even raise your hand in a Nazi salute today, you go to jail..
We should have followed their lead.

I know 'some' people. I know it's hard out there for a pimp, and ya gotta get cha grind on someway, dawg. Do what you gotta do. Play the game, roll the dice, homie. As for myself, my opinion on the issue has evolved. It's a sinking ship anyway. Look on the bright side, once it really goes legit you can probably get a job in the booming cannabis industry. Workin' that 9 to 5, gouged by the taxman, scraping and saving. One day when you get home, light a fat one and smile, remembering the good old days when you were an outlaw. Free.

I think the Supreme Court at the time was intellectually lazy when it said what it did about protecting the speech of Nazis. They punted and didn't differentiate between fascists and other kinds of protesters.

We should have followed their lead.

There is no good reason why pot should cost as much as black markets charge. Legalize it and just about anybody will be able to grow good weed for their own use and to give away plenty to others.

The black market has its downside too. In some areas, guerrilla growers are a hazard to people who just want to go for a hike. I'm all for pushing costs down to break the black market.

I live in an non-legal state, CT, next-door to a now legal state, MA., and I depend on growing/selling as a major part of my income.
I've prayed that pot could be legal ever since I took my 1st hit 50 years ago (I'm 62, but l can still fuck like I was 19, so all is good)
I was kinda worried about the effect of legalization in the beginning, but I count on straight forward American capitalism, like provide a better product at a better price.
Fuck retail outlets, I'll beat their prices and their quality/variety hands down everyday of the week.
I've reduced my price from $15 a gram to $10, oz's from $325 to $275, 1/4 lb's from $1000 to $900, and I still make decent change.
So I say make the whole country legal, I have no fear.
The American consumer will always look for the best deal, and in this neck of the woods, I'm it.

I want it legal too but the prices will be much lower than what you are getting now. Not saying that's a bad thing.

It's just like boot leggers. Beer used to cost over a dollar a piece for cheap brands when it was dry. It's less than half that now.

About the only way I see commanding such a price will be for organic top shelf. Anything else will be dirt cheap come legalization.

Here 2 years ago the prices you quote were common. Now most caregivers will sell at less than half those prices.

Feel the same way halved again? I actually do.

Those are still black market prices. Outrageous profit for what it costs to grow. That won't last. It will quickly come to the point where it makes more sense just to work within the legit industry I would think.

I live in NY which is a non legal state, I am learning about growing because of folks out here charging top dollar for poorly grown product. The majority of people out here trying to sell cannabis don't really know much about plant in general. They can't explain the benefits of using certain strains and etc.

$15 a gram to $10, oz's from $325 to $275, 1/4 lb's from $1000 to $900

I would have no problem paying $275, for a zip that's grown the proper way

I'm not calling anyone's skill & expertise as a cultivator into question, but growing great pot is not rocket surgery. Sure it takes knowledge and experience but it all comes down to the quality of the genetics and creating and maintaining the perfect environment for the plant to be happy. I'm thinking this could be accomplished easily by an automated legal industry. How much more do those organic tomatoes cost compared to the hydroponic ones? How much more does the small craft beer offerings cost compared to the Analheiser Busch shit?
