As I say, the issue could be resolved in minutes without firearms had the father actually grown testicles.
One phone call, two police officers, pack up his stuff as he's hauled away for illegal entry, change the locks.
Or take the "not so official way" which, with the right person "giving advice" would scare the shitbag so much he would move to another state.

I would be going to jail for forcefully removing him but lets not kid ourselves, I never would have needed court to get him out.
If the court says he has to go then proving you went beyond justifiable force to remove an intruder from your property will not be an easy thing for him to do,.for you would not believe how many times someone can fall going up a flight of stairs.
One phone call and I have two people bigger and "not as polite" as me advising him that changing his ways might be beneficial to his future, and that refusal WILL mean removal with as much force as I deem necessary as he is the trespasser who is ignoring a court order.
The law is not on his side in this case, and all that has to be said is he got aggressive and took a swing, would be fun trying to see him prove otherwise.

Unfortunately this is somewhat local news for me, they had him on the morning news saying he is going to appeal and will not move out before then! WTF is wrong with these entitled little bastards today. How embarrassing it would have been to be living at home after 21 in my day. I moved out at 16 but that is an altogether different story but when my friends graduated college they did not move back in with their parents. I think this everyone is special and you get a trophy for showing up is destroying us. They have no idea how to handle disappointment today.

When it comes to actual renters though it is wise to follow the letter of the law. Once the judge orders it just call the sheriff's department and they will watch as you put the renters stuff on the curb.
There has to be a deeper issue. How does it get to the point of going to court over a kid. Just a shitbag or is there mental problems.

That could turn out to be the bigger issue, one of the letters his parents wrote stated if he did not have the money to move out (after they just gave him $1000 for that purpose) that he should sell some of his guns!
Not sure what your tough guy comment meant but your kid freeloading at 30+ years of age has nothing to do with a renter with an agreement. We had a renter one time, she signed a year lease on our house in NJ. We went through a realtor since we relocated for my job, they did background and credit checks, all was good after 2 months she did not pay again, through the court system it took us the remaining 10 months to have her evicted, rentals are a tough business.

Apparently the kid moved back home 9-10 yr ago because: he lost his custody fight over his child and lost his job. Hope his ex raises that kid better.

Several people made statements like they would just toss people out.
Kid or no kid. Even with out a written lease it can be a pain to get people out.
