Wife is making me go back to hps. She saw the bud I posted on the "How frosty can we get buds" on RIU using hps. We just cut down the led garden and she hates it. I told here some say there is a learning curve, she said fuck the learning curve.

Hmmmm I’ve had some fine stuff from mine. It’s sad the wife is making you toss them if you were in Michigan I’d buy them I can always use more if for nothing else for spares. My wife let’s me do as I please lol as long as I don’t burn the house down.

My wife taught me how to grow. She's 10 times the gardener then i am. Where i live people are sort of born into knowing how to grow marijuana. Her dad did, his dad did and so on.

Thats weird. My temps were almost too low with my QB. I had to dial the speed back on my extraction fan to keep temps where i wanted them.

4X4 pretty small space for HPS.....I'd use an HPS on med to large room...no way I would put an HPS in that small of space...you relying too much on your cooling system not to fail...in a room not so bad but in that small of space a disaster!

man, by time you spend money (and electric bill) on exhaust fan etc. for HPS you still got a fire hazard in that small of space unless done correctly but what if your fan stops and you away somewhere....at the least you get heat stress....likely will anyway in that small of space

I grow Led and add CFL and shop lights to bring my temps up

Thats weird. My temps were almost too low with my QB. I had to dial the speed back on my extraction fan to keep temps where i wanted them.

Not sure how many watts you have, but i was running 1950 watts. 1200 of QB and 750 of cobs.

I run 6k but I have exhaust and have a second zone on my geothermal set to auto if it ever gets too hot it kicks on and the same if it gets too cool it’ll kick on. However before I had the second geo installed with just exhaust with passive intake it was somewhere around 76 or so degrees. But you got to keep the wife happy. Either way hope your next grow is better.

experienced growers would be different but you want to send a newbie off with his HPS into a small tent...he doesn't even have the clearance for an HPS

Really? So what is and why do the majority of professional commercial growers use them and 315CMH? Only one commercial grow in Alaska running LED.

should fatten up nicely in next couple of weeks....rock hard nugs already.....harvest in 2-3 weeks

easier in a 6 foot clearance by 4 feet to heat up using good COB's, QB Led,s than to cool using an HPS

HPS great transpiration and good LED little heat so no transpiration unless you add heat

I agree with using HPS on larger spaces than 4X4X6
