Thank you. I’ll take the responsibility for the clawing because I should have only been giving them 1/2 like I’d done previously. Haha @ less is more, same thing I posted right after my blunder. I was taught that in the beginning, idk why I decided to try it . Oh well lolThey look great! Dont worry about one or two leaves doing weird stuff...some strains have a natural claw, its how the water naturally runs off the leaf. I a week or so you won't have to worry about nitrogen anymore...I have had some pretty shocking looking plants turn out some serious buds so yours will be great! Remember less is more and %90 of your success will be the environment you provide. Nutrients are just to help keep the energy.
FFOF / LIMEWhen I water, I use about 1/4 strength of what the manufacturer says(advanced nutrients), I used full strength and burnt shit out of them. I hand water coco coir with perlite(70/30 mix) and I always water with out 20% run off...I always use cal/mag and silica. Ph for veg 5.8, ph for flower 58 to start then I move it up weekly by about .1 so in the last two weeks I am at 6.0 to 6.1, this way the plant intakes phosphorus a lot more and my buds are rocks! Oh Also last two weeks keep your temps in the early 20's and down to 16 even at night(centigrade that is)
You’ll be pulling those leaves at some point. Thanks you kindly Sir, I’m kind of bummed about over feeding and those “ unattractive clawing leaves “ all I can do is take my lumps and move on. I’m excited and nervous because this is the most plants I’ve attempted to take on,
I can’t wait for that part, I’m waiting to post my girls in the Quantum Grow Thread, once they start showing off lol.
Ok. Thank you I’ll be happy to pull them too. You’ll be pulling those leaves at some point.
Focus on the part about having recognized the issue and adjusted, that’s what really matters.
They look great!

I’m trying to find ways to minimize my problems, but still keep things simple because I’m no expert. Thank you !! Knowing I’m crushing it is freaking awesome !!! Yipeeeee!! LolThis.
I mean you are crushing it AND fine tuning to be even better. Hoping my DH's still look that healthy at this stage.
1/2 is good, I use half on my indicas and 3/4 on my Sativas and then dialed in from there because I’m running so many strains, I pretty much got it down, some still get a little nutrient burn but almost nothing, I keep everything logged in a journal , I also stripped some of my Plants as a test to see what would happen, and I mean I stripped them , I have more of the same seeds so if it fucks up it’ll get tossed, I’m about 2 months away from harvest so I had some time to mess with my veg plants , everything is looking better and better! Really blown away by how healthy and vigorously the plants are growing!Thank you. Keeping notes really helps me and I also take notes from other growers. I was doing ok with 1/2 idk why I increased the amount . From now on I’ll never feed full strength because that N can mess things up. I’m expecting to see a bunch of beautiful winter stashes posted around Christmas time lol.1/2 is good, I use half on my indicas and 3/4 on my Sativas and then dialed in from there because I’m running so many strains, I pretty much got it down, some still get a little nutrient burn but almost nothing, I keep everything logged in a journal , I also stripped some of my Plants as a test to see what would happen, and I mean I stripped them , I have more of the same seeds so if it fucks up it’ll get tossed, I’m about 2 months away from harvest so I had some time to mess with my veg plants , everything is looking better and better! I will post another picture in a week and we will see, they were fighting for light you can see how tight it is in there , I took off a lot of fan leaves and gave them a feeding right after, I think the nutrients help with the bounce back, one of my buddies does this 4 times during veg and 3 times in flower, no lolipopping , no topping , and he gets massive nugs so I figured he’ll ill try it , I’m just hoping they don’t herm out on meKeeping notes really helps me and I also take notes from other growers. When you defoliated heavily do you think the girls liked it better than having a lot of leaves?
I’m scared to take off so many leaves. Oh my goodness, I’m a baby grower still can’t do the grown up stuff like this yet. tbt, I'm not that far ahead of you. I've had issues, read, learned, think I'm going in the right direction and have been having better results. I hope to do as well as you've been doing so we can see if what I've been learning works. I am sold on defol. 3 harvests defoliating and each has been better. The first time I did it I didn't understand why lol. On my current grow I am just stressing the relocation/soil disruption, and the new lights I am building.I’m scared to take off so many leaves. I pulled 7 leaves from each plant this evening, I guess I’ll have to do more because they still look bushy ( except tall one) It’s hard because it’s conflicting opinions on removing leaves. It seems to work out for everyone who tries but I may end up not so lucky not knowing what I’m doing. Catch 22tbt, I'm not that far ahead of you.
