You seem to be conflating an ill timed comment on my part into a lack of compassion on my part. Ironic, since many of my posts are all about compassion and I already stated I found the actions of the murderer unacceptable. If this is a serious thread, great. I'll apologize, again. Sorry to give the impression I took the subject matter of the thread lightly. I don't. Hard to tell sometimes. My mistake.



As an aside, at the start of the thread I did point out the irony of how manipulated people are to decry one kind of violence against innocents while endorsing other kinds on a regular and routine basis. The only difference is in one instance the "killer" is a nongovernment person and in the other murders they are government related murders and somehow seen as "necessary" or "not murder".

My regular observations and comments there often strike a cognitive dissonant chord within others who are indoctrinated to see those things as two separate kinds of events, when they aren't. They are both murder, yet most people support the kind they are instructed to believe isn't murder. So, please carry on, talking about how bad murder is, while also supporting systems (other people) who regularly use murder as an integral part of maintaining their system. Irony.

When you say "tax it's citizens" you are providing an example of how you believe in two opposing things at once.

You seem distraught over the violence shown to an innocent child. That's commendable.

You seem okay with using violence against neutral innocent people in other instances though. That's contradictory, and not commendable.

If you like violence so much as a means to achieve your goals, why do you get mad at the child raping lady, for using the same means (initiatory violence) you turn a blind eye to when it is done on a larger scale by your taxing dictatorial overlords?
