Do you guys defoliate your autos? If so when is it ok to do? Also should I avoid defoliation if I’m getting a little nutrient burn?
Sorry but disagree! Need good air circulation and when I bend and tie over, they get so bushy. I took as many as half big fan leave off when flowering and they did great.Never take a leaf of that is green ,no need
true dat !Not many but big leaves at bottom. Increase air circulation. Only after 5/6 weeks
I tried this way but I got PM because water got trapped between leaves ( I foliar spray sometimes) and became a perfect scenario for PM. The plant got bushy as hell too and the humidity where I live is 20-30% (outdoors). I agree with trimming up the plant for air movement around the plant. Cheers!Never take a leaf of that is green ,no need
Theres a method I picked off the dude grow show. When you defoliate in flower pick off one or two leaves a day. Pick leaves that shade more mass than the entire leaf itself.i remove everything under the scrog net and try tuck he rest of the leaves i don't like causing stress to my plants so i try not take many leaves off unless the plant is extremely bushy hen you kind of have to strip leaves to reduce humidity and mold risks
i much agree on doing that. never a good idea to strip the entire plant in one dayTheres a method I picked off the dude grow show. When you defoliate in flower pick off one or two leaves a day. Pick leaves that shade more mass than the entire leaf itself.
